PMA - First Time - If You Have to Try it, do it At Home

Nothing wrong with testing on yourself under controlled conditions. The OP seemed well prepared and cautious enough. This is the very thing that the Shulgins do if I'm not mistaken.

He tried to give the best feedback he could aswell, we shouldn't treat him like an idiot. This is actually fairly useful information.
 
Reportedly, the best thing to do with PMA is to halogenate it (at the 3 position). Supposedly this leads to an intensely psychedelic drug experience, nothing like PMA itself.
 
Hey, I've done stupid shit too. Even when you acknowledge that it was stupid and that you've learned from the experience, people will still give you shit as if that can change what happened, or as if you actually care enough what some random people on the Internet think, to change what you do.

Anyway, people that manufacture this are fuckheads. If you're going to rip someone off with bunk pills, sell sugar pills or something, not something deadly.
 
i duno, some of the people on here that are quite random are pretty respectable too. dont know how i drew those conclusions but i would probably listen to what some of them have to say...

i liked this report, this is what trip reports that arent just awesome times on drugs should be like. like someone said, the shulgins did something very similar under controlled settings. this is what experimenting with drugs is. thanks for sharing.

If you are going to try PMA, you shouldn't snort it. That will make it more dangerous.

I think PMA has some MAOI effects. 2c-t-7 also has some MAOI effects, and the deaths related to it were from snorting. Snorting will increase the potency, but can increase the side effects even more.

I've heard that PMA can be nice in small amounts, but I have no interest in trying it myself. It just seems to dangerous to me.
 
My only experience with PMA was rather stupid, at a club- good friend had a seizure. I personally just felt "flustered" and stressed the whole time; almost delereious.

Sorry to sound unintelligant, but what is PMA? I dont know jackshit about any of these acronym drugs, what does it make you feel like?

Personally Im just a heroin addict and have no experiance with any of these club drugs or anything, just the normal recreationals.
 
It's something that has occasionally been sold as MDMA (ecstacy), and has caused deaths, because it causes toxicity and severely raised body temperature. Taking one dose of it would probably not cause any long-term health problems, but if people think it's MDMA and take a bunch of them... they'll die. It's basically one of the most irresponsible drug dealer schemes ever known.
 
So is PMA easier to make than MDMA/MDA? Hence all the availability....

As well I bought some pills sold as MDMA 75mg podwer in them, I took 2 my first night, smoked a bowl or two and drank a beer or two. I liked them so me and a friend went in on another batch for more. This friend is on anti depressants (not at that time thought), and he was taking random "E" pills from different sources. Some were methbombs and a few were actually very good. However the 2nd time we got the MDMA 75mg he took 2 tabs (after having used "E" repeatedly a few times that week already, AS HAD I) and bitched saying they weren't doing anything. I then took only one (after using it repeatedly, other pills, as well) and I started rolling like expected, of course it wasn't nearly as good as the first roll but it was understandable.



What happens on these pills is, from what i've noticed:
1. Eyes are dialated within 1-2hrs (orally)
2. Snorting it burns like hell and it also comes on stronger, with more side effects
3. The pills if taken orally, follow the erowid graph for MDMA *PERFECTLY*
4. I can't stop smiling on them for 3-4hrs
5. The lights and sounds get amplified
6. I am relatively mellow on them, after 5hrs-6hrs I start to feel a little anxious, but that didn't happen the first time and i've been taking them every 2-3 days the past week or two

Q: Does MDMA do that? Or: Are the effects of oral PMA *THAT* close to the effects of oral MDMA?
 
^^ No, the effects of PMA aren't really much of anything at all like MDMA. The effects you describe sound like MDMA, or perhaps just amphetamines.
 
This wasnt a very long report! we get stuff lots longer! SOunds like a pretty scary experience, I dont think I could ever manage to take this one. It was fairly common in the 60s I believe as a recreational drug, but better stuff came out and it became a rarity. But, it is a neurotoxin, and very dangerous, I dont think I could reccomend it to anyone. People will do what they want though

The routes used are exactly the same, only the initial precursor is easier to find.
