Heroin plugging with solution that's seen better days...

this is kind of a stupid question but whatever. sometimes when i'm trying to IV, i'll register and get the flashback, but the needle will fall out and i can't register again because i have crappy veins.

in order for me to salvage my veins and not waste my stuff, i've been thinking of plugging the solution. but having the blood in there worries me. i had planned to re-filter to get out any possible clots and whatnot.

anyway, i'm trying to ask would it be okay to plug a solution with a little bit of blood in it, for want of not wasting? obviously this is just a fallback method for me in case i can't register...but yeah.

It's perfectly fine, your rectum has feces pass through it on a regular basis, but you don't drop dead. Filtration a second time is not neccesary.The small amount of blood is too big to be re-absorbed through a mucous membrane, and if it's not exposed to the atmosphere for too long, it will stay relatively free of viruses and toxins.

This is actually the recommended "fallback" method for when you can't shoot IV, because oral admin is nearly useless and nobody likes to shoot blood up their nose.

okay, awesome. i figured a little blood up my ass wouldn't hurt me, but i just like to be sure. i missed my first shot ever the other day and i almost had a heart attack. it's fine now, just a little tender, but it inspired me to find another way to use my solution. and yeah, i'd be using it pretty much immediately after a failed registration (right word?) so i wouldn't have to worry about contamination. thank you.
