Stimulants Plugging Ritalin/Methyphenidate questions

Then... It will be a new thing if it works.
how would you go about it?
I have a lot of experience extracting methylphenidate from various preparations. I had a pretty severe addiction to IV MPH where I would use isopropyl alcohol to extract methylphenidate from concerta, which works pretty well but is a major hassle. I have tried extracting it and smoking it in a meth pipe and I would say don’t bother. I don’t remember it working very well, tasted like shit and caked on to the glass so badly that I ended up breaking the pipe trying to scrape it off lol 😂

Perhaps the form the MPH is in is not ideal for vaporising, I don’t know whether a process analogous to freebasing cocaine is required to smoking it, I just know that smoking extracted MPH hydrochloride was a waste of time.

My takeaway from my decades of experience both using therapeutically and abusing MPH is that plugging is the way to go.

Using it IV (of course after either; isopropyl extraction [preferably wheel filter this extract as well] if using concerta or filtration through cotton followed by a wheel filter/micron filter if using IR/SR tabs) gets you the most euphoria but is one of the worst drugs on the planet for compulsive redosing (I would spend 48 hours just extracting, injecting, extracting, injecting until I gave myself a migraine) and will destroy veins like nothing else (I’ve heard IV cocaine is similarly destructive).

Snorting/insufflation never really did anything for me but I have always had major issues with my nose anyway.

But when you plug MPH you lose some of the compulsivity but still get a ‘rush’ (given you do it correctly and have cleared your bowels beforehand) in the same way as IV but less intense and spread over a longer period. BA is as close to IV as you can get. You also avoid all the perils of intravenous drug use
