Plugging Dihydrocodeine - CWE needed?

If I plan on plugging Dihydrocodeine for my first time (usually take 240mg orally..but my supply is running low until I get more so hence I need to make less=more) , do I need to perform a CWE before hand? :? This is probably a dumb question to some of you, but honestly I really don't know. I know for Hydrocodone you obviously do because it usually is combined with APAP. But Im in the States so there is barely any information about DHC here and no one has really heard of it because its not used here.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. An answer by tomorrow evening would be ideal:)

Yes, a cold water extraction is necessary to remove the APAP. Whatever the ROA you choose, the APAP will be absorbed by your body, so just plan on doing a CWE anytime you are ingesting these compounded codeine products.

With that said, consuming excessive amounts of NSAIDs probably won't kill you, but it would be better to do the CWE and take the worry out of the equation.

Are you sure that these pills contain APAP? They do make Codeine/Dihydrocodeine without NSAIDs attached.

the leaflet that comes inside the box says this: What Dihydrocodeine Tablets contain: The active substance is Dihydrocodeine Tartrate.
The other ingredients are maize starch, lactose mono hydrate, providone, sodium starch glycollate (type A), magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica. Whatever the hell all that stuff is..no idea.

If it doesn't list anything other than DHC in the active ingredients section, than I'd assume you're good. It should be easy to figure out by reading the pamphlet or box or what have you. If you don't have the box or the pamphlet, you can always identify the pills using google. This will indicate the strength and amount of NSAIDs in the pills if there are any.

I very rarely (if ever) hear about DHC being combined with APAP or NSAID, and based on the ingredient list you're fine.

I've heard of people extracting non-combination opioids for plugging just to get the non-soluble binders and fillers out, but this is a non-essential cleanliness step so long as there's no APAP our NSAIDs in there. It doesn't look like there is. Those can just be crushed, dissolved, and plugged.
