I think you'll do a great job. Those who looked childish complaining in here did nothing else but make it known that much more that you two are the people for the job! :)
 
I honestly wondered why randycaver wasnt a mod of this forum long ago. She has cared about this forum for a long time and it was oblivous that she did more then the most of the mods.

I think that this forum should be ran by mods that represent everything from "the movie snob to the casual fan" as it suggest. Randycaver is much more then a casual fan of film and television but yet she doesnt pride herself on being the movie snob she's not.
I happen to think that most Bl's fall into randycavers like of opinion in many threads in this forum.

I can't believe some would have a problem with her being a new mod and not themselves after the amount of time and dedication she has put here and in the old forum of its kind.

I don't post in this forum often because I am generally a book rather than a movie/television fan, but I do enjoy the visual media. I lurk this forum and value the variety of opinions that are presented here. I have always thought randycaver has presented accurate and timely opinions and has contributed much to this forum. I also think 1234 has proven himself as both an active moderator of his other forums and poster in this forum.

I don't know how the decision process was made because it wasn't and isn't my business and thus was not discussed in my presence, but I have to say I think the end result was a very nice mix and that randycaver and 1234 will complement alasdairm and wanderlust well.

It blows my mind that people can't just put their politics aside and be happy that this forum is being led by four extremely capable moderators.

Go take a Xanax or something. :\

well, i'll happily take credit. i know it sounds silly, but i *am* a movie snob - i think it's an art-form, and is often far too unappreciated (while the stupid hollywood bullshit gets all the kudos and popularity). thus, i'm quite happy to be snobbish about my love :D (and hey, i'm an arts student, i'm supposed to be ;)).
