That self loathing is a very damaging thought process and one I struggle with myself :\

Truth is we are all beautiful, glittering, perfect examples of ourselves, hating yourself is pretty much self harm in itself.

Yeah I would take your email address down, feel free to PM though if you wanna chat to a stranger. I'm no miracle worker but I have some experience of the darker side of life as a result of taking drugs. Anger at myself is a struggle that pops up for me on quite a regular basis too. It's often founded on perfectly reasonable grounds but there are ways of dealing with it that can be quite effective.:)
 
I struggle with self doubt and self loathing. I try to take a personal inventory. Not an inventory of how much I hate myself, but an inventory of actions, people, places and things that have lead me to feel this way. The only one who can effect changes in my like is me. You're the only one who has the ability to change your own self image. Things will get better because you can make them better. You can't change your past but you damn sure can make decisions in the present to alter your future. Finding the strength to do this is daunting, I know, but feel the hurt the pain and anguish and know you can change that to happiness by taking small steps forward. Set a goal attain it and then set another. Start with baby steps and those will turn into leaps that today may not feel attainable. Anything is possible.

If you live in the UK and you desperately need someone to talk to at any time, you can call the Samaritans. If you live elsewhere i'm certain there are other similar organisations that could help. :)
 
You need to find something you are passionate about - a career, hobby or something positive you can point to and say,"Yeah, I did that". When I was younger I struggled so much with self-esteem, I felt worthless and depressed all the time. But I have since found myself and I finally got a job that I can feel proud of and a couple of hobbies like my blog and reading. I know it's a tough slog but you can do it.
 
If your health is good [physically] be grateful and address your inner demons, possibly with a professional or support group. There's plenty of folks that feel just as you do, but it's up to you to reach out.
If you're in constant pain and have a ticking time bomb within your bodily organs, that's another matter.
Trust me, as long as you have resonably good health, you will overcome your problems. Give it time and be kind and patient with yourself.
