Please help guys insomnia due to w/d's is unbearable

*sigh* Benzo and opiate withdrawal is really, really terrible, guys. I'm sorry to see so many of you struggling with it - and that wretched insomnia that seems to be an important part of the whole package.

It might sound strange, but all of you have solid cause to feel really good about yourselves. Buckling down and enduring the pain and agony now in order to achieve a better life later requires a special breed of courageous person. I'm proud of everyone in here who's done it, or who is currently doing it. Don't forget to be proud of yourselves, too, because it's not easy to congratulate oneself in the cesspool of strong emotions that come with having one's mind finally cleared of the cobwebs that have been stifling it for so long.

Keep on going. It may not be okay at this time, but you will be okay. Keep communicating with us here in The Dark Side; last thing anyone here needs at this point is to feel as though they have to bottle up or suppress what's going on with them. I'm inspired each and every time I read about somebody pursuing success and a happier life :)

There is a way to beat opiate addiction and the terrible withdraws that come with trying to get clean. Here is a link to a thread I started that outlines one mans experience using Ibogaine and Memantine to completely get through opiate withdraw virtually pain free. I know...sounds to good to be true but, I assure you, it is. I hope it helps many others beat the horror of opiate withdraw.
