Well ladies and gents its been great but im afraid its time for me to move on. Ive learned and grown a lot from the things ive read in this forum in the past but its been a long time since its been anything more than habit for me, and i think habit is a terrible thing... ive moved on in all but title so i think its time to take the last step.

Im going to ask the admins to remove my modship next Sunday, the 20th of July, so you have until then to post your application here telling us why you think you will make a good Words mod. then me and the other mods will choose someone to take my spot. so if you think youre up to the HUGE workload that comes with modding this forum (BWAHHHHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA huge workload, yeah right!) then post your application and tell us why you think you would make a good mod. i want reasons, not just a "yeah ill do it". cmon put some effort in people...

I absolutely, wholeheartedly, undeniably adore you Ant. Whatever paths jump in front of you, you always insist on making sure that they hold beauty and truth. Thanks for always inspiring me. And for consistently putting a smile on my face. Oh and this moderator thing, welcome to the ranks of all who've left it behind. ;)

i think i speak for most who regularly read this forum and post peices of theirs when i say THANK YOU for your work you have done in here...both in giving opinions and constructive help and also the kind words you speak into peoples peices that i know touch them whether you see it or not. you are a man of mystery to most but your character has become well known to us all.

you know we appreciate what you have done and we all enjoy reading your writting so we will all look forward to seeing your posts still. :D

love you as always hun and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Ant, you've been a damn fine moderator, and you're a fucking talented writer. If at least you won't do one, please keep doing the other and keep posting your work here so we can read it.

Thank you for having been such a damn good moderator of one of the few forums on bluelight that matters to me.

Vis a vis the moderating position. I would love to attempt to step into your shoes. I love this forum more than any other, and I have been reading and contributing to it since I joined bluelight two years ago. While I do already hold one moderating position, it takes up a minimal amount of time, and leaves me more than enough time to moderate another forum. I only work part time (in a rare & 2nd hand book store) and this again gives me plenty of time to take care of another forum, as I have no other demands on my time. Apart from being a writer and aspiring novelist, which I'm sure most everyone who applies for this position is, I don't know of any other qualifications that I could offer besides the fact that I have wanted to moderate this forum for a good year or so.

You have always had nothing but kind and encouraging words for me and for everyone else in this forum. I know you will have no idea what I'm talking about but you responded to the very first thing I wrote in this forum with such sweet words that it made my heart melt [it was under a different name and it was waaaaaaay before we'd started talking]. From that day you've only proved yourself to be an even better person then I first suspected. You will definitely be missed.

you do all realise that im not dying right?

ill still be around just as much (or as little) as ever, i just think words deserves a mod whos actually going to read things and give it the time it deserves. so as touching as this all is please just leave this thread for applications and if you want to send me farewells (even though im not going anywhere) then please leave them to PMs. thanks guys :) mwah. i love you all dearly.

Not only does he obviously wanna do it, but he's shown an incredibly avid interest in this forum since I've been posting on it at least, and he' s always supportive of people's writing, with great constructive criticism or even commentary.

Yeah ant, i can't say that i won't miss your posts, nor your meaningful replies to most of the stuff i've posted here, but i know why you're leaving and i think it's the best thing you could do. :)

I don't really know why i want to moderate words - i haven't been on Bluelight a whole heaps recently because i haven't had a stable internet connection, but i have just secured cable internet, so that is no longer an issue. :)

Writting is something is a tool that i use to exorcise my thoughts and help to clear my mind. I love being able to just sit down and type, without any particular inspiration or conscious thought, and end up with a piece that others consider inspiring. To know that my writing affects seven one person in any such way gives me a sense of fulfillment and happiness.

I think that moding the Words forum would give me the chance to really contribute something to Bluelight, something more than just adding the occasional post to a thread, or throwing a few words into a thread of my own. I guess i'd feel as though i was a more active part of a collective that has so much to offer... I am an avid reader of this forum, although i do not post so much... as a mod i'd devote more time to responding to the posts instead of just reading them. ;)

No matter whom is chosen for this moderating position i'll be happy for them. Although I would be more than happy to accept this role amongst the moding team... :)

Ya'll should pick her. She likes to moderate things . . . . but keep in mind she will probably be kept very busy moderating things around the appartment that her and I will have together . . . actually I anticipate -Resque- will spend at least 12 hours a day on internet reading poetry in words . . . ;)

Anyhow, Harasser, I am gonna miss you!!!! I sure do hope you don't die. Take care now and don't be a stranger . . . :D
