Not exactly sure where this should go but...

I suffer from headaches frequently and was prescribed Pizotifen by doctor as a preventative medication to stop them

I am wondering if there are any dangers when mixing these with phens or tryptamines or if anyone could input any thoughts?

Obviously the doctor said it wouldnt be advised but they wouldnt advise you to take any psycadelic or recreational drug.

Let meknow what you think people.

Wow, an old bump. Maybe this should go in ADD instead?

I'm very curious to know the answer to this question.

I was prescribed Pitozifen (as Sanomigran) when I was 13-14 for recurring headaches, and they gave me the most crazy vivid dreams that I wouldn't want to wake up from.

A friend has a prescription for them now and I have the chance to get some from him - quite interested in exploring these recreationally as dream-enhancers, or possibly have them on-hand in case of the need to abort a trip from a psychedelic?

Anybody got any ideas or information?

Going to bump this one again, I used to take sandomigraine (pizotifen), headaches left after a while of use, but I wasent a psychedelic user back then.

Constant migraines 1 hour after I fall asleep (waking me of course) every night lately, has made me hunt out my old pizos.
But now days I've been getting on LSD and shrooms a fair bit, just wondering if this stuff will ruin it.?

Probably will prevent you from getting good effects, pizotifen is a 5-HT2A antagonist which means it blocks action of the type involved with psychedelics: a type of serotonin action.

LSD and mushrooms are cures for cluster headaches anyway
(on a sidenote: I've recently come to understand that cluster headaches are (at least in some or most cases) caused by spastic blood vessels in the brain.)

Realize I do not recommend taking high doses of psychedelics to compensate, drug combinations are unpredictable by definition and simultaneous use with pizotifen does not seem to be common or properly understood beyond the basic pharmacologies.
