Pittsburgh Friend Needed

Hey Guys,

So I just moved to pittsburgh about two months ago, and have been having a terrible ass time due to all kinds of ppl dieing from the stuff that was apparently laced w fentanyl and cops being all over. What's a guy gotta do to make some friends around here, I'm a functional addict who can't afford to lose my job driving around ghettos cold copping, I already got tailed once in the hill district..

Basically I'm having a hard time finding some friends with common interests n it's not like I'm going to ask coworkers so, who could use a new fun loving friend in their life lol

Welcome to the burgh, the hill is hot as f**k so you got lucky to not get pulled. Are you black or white? Being white & in the hill is almost guaranteed to get you pulled over. Also cold coping around here is not a good idea, the majority of low level dope dealers will either straight jack you or give you some the worst cut dope you ever had. The h scene is pretty shity here for new comers, but there are good dope dealers around. You just gotta work the scene till you find out who's got what from who. I do feel for you being from PGH myself but can't offer nothing but advice since I've been out of the dope scene for over 6 yrs. The best advice I can give you for finding good dope in PGH is to become acquainted with some old school junkies, they'll be able to get you the good shit once you have won their trust. But overall PGH has a very clandestine dope scene for the good stuff & mostly garbage with very nasty cuts is what you'll find on the streets.

I am in a similar situation where I was a functional junkie & couldn't CT off dope without it affecting my job & finances. What I ended up doing was getting on to suboxone maintenence & dropped the the dope scene. It has made my addiction much more bearable & got me far enough away from the dope scene that I'm actually in a good position to attempt tapering off of it completely. Just be careful out there, people tend to think PGH is a safer city with less violent crime but that is far from the truth. When playing the game your are it's just as dangerous as any other city with a bad reputation.
