Piravetam (NOOTROPIL) and acid

Who has tried the Piracetam (Nootropil)? I know that this is for people with dyslexia, but a friend made a research on this and when you take it with Acid it will increase the visuals A LOT! It is totally legal and you can buy it in the drugstore.
So, we tried and I remember i dropped a hit of acid and the Nootropil and GOD!!! the trip was AMAZING, the visuals were the best ones i ever had in my entire LIFE!.
Piracetam is an intelligence booster and central nervous system stimulant with no known toxicity or addictive properties. The subjective effect described by most people is that it 'wakes up your brain.'. The effects are so impressive that piracetam promoted the creation of a new pharmaceutical called nootropics. It is used in europe to treat alcoholism, stroke, vertigo, senile dementia, sickle cell anemia and dyslexia.

yyeh, that (a pack of piracetam) and a dollar will buy you a ticket on the bus.
i've been taking the stuff for years and unless you ingest an attack dose (>3000 mg or 7+ capsules) there is no entertainment value and the cognition-enhancing efects are mild and only apparent after 2+ weeks of use.
that said, once a FOAF took 5 grams of mushies and 4 grams of piracetam, went to a Phish concert and had a lousy time - he became way too smart for the band and could always tell what they were going to play next...
 
Yeah that's true frqntflyr, when i took the acid, i took 4 capsules, and it was NICE, a friend took 7 capsules and a whole hit of acid and he was WOW.
The visuals are so strong, everything is totally different and nice, and it lasted for around 15 hours hard trippin' .
You can buy it without prescription at any drugstore and you can buy capsules or liquid.
Taking 7 capsules wont make anything bad to you, but your trippin' time will be AMAZING!.

i find piracetam especially good for mind-racing properties of acid.
ketamine users should also do a search to see how piracetam works in combination w/ k, there is info out there.
if you have trouble retaining information you received on your k trip, piracetam is a really good, cheap choice.
It's not legal (or illegal, yet) here but there is plenty of research done on this drug.
It's also been used to treat alcoholics, for speaking ability in children with learning deficits, plenty of studies on it.
and for all stoners out there when I was getting tired of pot (i knew i loved it but my mind would just falter when i got stoned) was around the time I began taking piracetam (I'm off it right now) and my highs became much more clear, I was again able to explain long stony messages to my friends.
The power of this drug shouldn't be underestimated, and remember it does slightly lower acetylcholine levels so be sure to take in combination w/ choline or hydergine or something to prevent headaches or other side effects caused by low acetycholine levels.
 
That article also cites a Chinese study that showed piracetam's memory-enhancing properties are inhibited by ketamine.

It conects your both hemispheres of the brain, so make you think better. I think it's a really great medicine.
The weird thing is that once I remember I took it in a party and my ride was VERY VERY confusing, i couldn't find my ride, like i wanted to be seaten, then dancing, then talking, then walking, didn't know what i really wanted, and all of my friends who took it there, felt the same way too, weird thing!.
BUt still, the time i took in the mountains with some friends only was very nice and the visuals were to hard!

i used to take piracetam for adhd. its only available on prescription in the uk and is sold to rejuvinate the brain of an alcoholic as it increases the supply of oxygen to the brain. on the info leaflet that comes with the drug it says that it may increase the effects of other drugs. it also says that not to drink alcohol - apparently it increases its toxicity. i would be reluctant to try it with e. oh, if you take it regularly you may have difficulty shitting.. i got sick of spending an hour or more each day on the loo!
 
I never had that problem (with the 'loo') and I was on 1.6 grams per day for around 5-6 weeks.
It supposedly increases the toxicity of alcohol because of the increased amount of blood flowing between the brain hemispheres.
It also potentiates caffeine, so sip your coffee slowly.. you will notice a difference.
Also, the drug is not expensive... there are plenty of online dealers who sell it for considerably more than it costs... look for European (British) suppliers, not American.
If you decide to take the drug I'd suggest not being without a choline supplement like hydergine... I took "Lucidril" although I am not sure if this produces acetylcholine, but I did not have any noticeable side effects from the piracetam.
 
Drugstores are pharmacies, places where you buy medicine, wherever you buy stuff to heal from a sickness, etc, etc, etc...

WHen we first found out about this we took it in the office (me and my co-workers) without acid, and it rushes you a lot, weird ah?

Piracetam helps you remember a lot more of a trip, especially acid and other drugs where you are high for so long it gets very difficult to remember where your mind was at the beginning of the night.

I've just a few questions. If it is available OTC in australia, I was wondering what I should say I want it for if queried?
Also, about when would you take it to enhance a trip . . . or any drug experience?
Just have it the morning of the day you plan on indulging?
 
PB, you definitely will not find it OTC in Australia, nor by scrip for that matter, you can order it off the net and get it through customs as "personal use" but if you are going to bother, i'd suggest investigating some of the piracetam derivatives - the latter generation is supposedly more potent, nootropically.
for enhancing anything - its active fairly quickly, an hour before dropping the ????, about 3000 mgs

pinwheel - 1.6g is nothing... id be very supprised if you got anything at that dose. in a drug guide book of my local pharmacy it recommends between 7.2g and 20g daily. i've also read (either in that book or in the product info leaflet which i cant be bother to check right now) that it is a good idea to take an 'attack dose' when starting out. i got sig. effects from 7.2g daily.
