My partner has to go for one of these (100mg) once per month to control her schizophrenia. Does anyone know of any bad reactions with other drugs whilst taking this?
So far 6-APB and MXE seem OK, but we're taking it cautious.
Before her breakdown last November we were both regular clubbers, and she thinks that she's ready to go clubbing again, but we are both obviously wary as to what she can take.

Any help / experiences?

Basic research would bring one to believe it is a phenothiazine anti-psychotic.

It will probably severely attenuate the effects of most club drugs, although I don't know if the use of dopaminergic drugs by someone with schizophrenia is a good idea in the first place.

6-APB is has effects on NDMA and 5-HT receptors, but it also increases dopamine. Because of this, I would recommend great caution, because using a dopaminergic drug could trigger a psychotic episode.

MXE, however, is fine.

Pretty much anything that is dopaminergic can be dangerous for your partner. In addition, there is a massive list of contraindicated drugs when taking phenothiazine antipsychotics, from certain antibiotics to all beta 2 agonists. You will really need to thoroughly research each particular drug on a case by case basis BEFORE taking them to make sure your partner is safe.

The best advice for your partner is, of course, to avoid drugs at all and simply focus on maintaining the stability of their illness as the top priority.
