Pins and Needles after Coke

Yesterday after a small yayo session i experienced the pins and needles sensation that went across my face and as well in both my arms. I know if it only happens on your left hand that could be a sign of a heart attack or something, but it was both hands and my face. It felt like a prickly feeling , it freaked the shit out of me as there was traffic at that exact moment and there was no where for me to go and my heart started racing faster all the sudden. I am on the medication zoloft, and read that there shouldn't be any interactions in the thread that talks about SSRI combos. The sensation lasted a good 15 min, but felt like longer. Could it have just been anxiety? Any insight please

Anxiety sounds like the most likely thing to cause pins and needles, definitely, especially if you start to hyperventilate (but even if you don't, it can still cause funny sensations..)

I can (almost) guarantee it wasn't your heart! If you are worried, get yourself checked over by a doctor, as we can't diagnose you over the internet but anxiety possibly triggered by your stim session sounds like the most likely culpret. How have you been since?

As cocaine is predominantly dopaminergic (affects dopamine, where as SSRIs affect serotonin) there should be no problemn with Zoloft- cocaine does have very minimal serotonergic activity but nothing to be worried about :)

vasoconstrictors (i.e. cocaine, amps, ect..) are known to cause the "pins and needle" effect.

you are fine, though i am not sure how to get rid of these side effects. just bare through it , you;ll survive :D

I have been fine since, and did the same batch of yayo the days before with no pins and needles. I think it could have been anxiety, anyways i'm gonna slow down or cut out the coke usage as i can see i'm starting to like it more.
