We are really busy with many things.
I just uploaded the new site. Have a look ;-)
The pilltest.com thing has changed as well.
The problem at the moment is that we are unable to make good quality pictures of the pills we received with the camerastuff we have now.
That should be solved in a few days but if someone has suggestions on how to make good pictures of pills, I'd like to know.
The database is being worked on, we overlooked a few things there.
Most important is that it will be free.
We found some sponsoring.
It just takes more time than we thought.
We are also working on and experimenting with new testkits.

I tried that but it did not really work but my scanner is really cheap and old.
Do you have good experiences using a scanner ? Which scanner do you use ? If we have to, we'll buy a good scanner.

ok i dont personally have a scanner, or use it to scan pills, and i never even touch the little round things

well most of the better quality shots were done with scanners, so the submitters tell me...

I have a nice scanner, I bought it for like $80.00 bucks at CompUSA.. 32bit color..
Let me tell you, SCAN the pills in. It works freaking GREAT!

aj: I used to scan my pills using a HP Scanjet no problem... I think it set me back about 300fl or less (its exchange from Canadian $)

I've got some very good pictures with a Cheapo Web Cam (800 x 600 pixels).
If you get it close enough to the aspirin (or whatever ) and make sure its focused you can get some very clear pictures.

my father bought a very expensive ($500 AUD) scanner... what else would i do with it?
it doesnt seem to use the regular scanning method, it's got a thin & tiny green bar instead of the bright white thing. very technical i know. i believe this'll avoid the problems encountered with white pills.
unfortunately, after my enthusiastic start to scanning every pill i could get my hands on in sydney, i've been caught up with...

• exams
• illness
• an empty bank account

in about 4 weeks i'll be scanning like crazy for ya johnboy
