If a pill contains BOTH mda and mdma... what will the E2 test result be?! I assume it will turn blue because it detects the presence of mda. Is this true? Or does it perhaps depend on the amount of mda versus mdma?

i think you meant "it will turn blue because it detects the presence of MDMA" as the Simon's reagent will react with the secondary amine in the MDMA.
we are talking about testing with Simon's reagent (EZ Test Supreme or Dancesafe Simon's) aren't we?
anyhow, a pill with a mix of MDMA and MDA will give a blue reaction to Simon's, and will do so even if there is the tiniest bit of MDMA present, or methamphetamine present for that matter...
