Seeing as this is pill testing forum, I have recently decided it is my mission to find somewhere I can do testing and I am looking for anyone who has sucessfully done testing in clubs to give me some pointers and some direction.
Any information even the smallest details from those who have taken part in doing this or have witnessed other people doing this would be glady accepted.
I am in the UK and have already discussed this with one promoter and I am waiting to hear back from him after this has been put to the owner of the venue so hopefully it might get the go ahead.
Thank you for your time, Robert

*ahem* We test stuff here in Melbourne Australia all the time, in clubs and some outdoor events.
www.enlighten-hr.org for some info and contact details.
What sort of information you after?

Well what test kits do you use?
I am going to have to start off with just the marquis reagent which is a shame but hopefully soon I will add e2 and the x-treme.
How big is your stall? Do you provide other bits of information?
Do you find people are happy with the service and do you charge or ask for donations?

We provide bits and pieces of information. A lot fo drug information, perhaps we also need to provide some treatment referral information to people that need/want it as well.
We have a stall (basically a big table) that gets provided to us, we provide lights, a banner and small signage. We sometimes have ear plug, small bits of candy etc however the bulk of the table is taken up with the testing stuff.
There is enough room for 2-3 people to sit down and we have small rectangular ceramic plates to conduct the actual testing with. A large supply of napkins to whipe up the test residue with, some sterile swabs to start afresh, a bin to put all the acidic napkins in to, some sodium bicarbonate in a bottle in case someone spills the tester all over themselves, a notebook with a chart to record the test results, some colour placards to show what the test results mean, some more placards to say "This test shows this substance is an ecstasy-like substance" etc
The reagents we use are primarily marquis (E1) and Mandalen (E2). We need E2 here as we have a large problem with ketamine. Also E2 is the only one that tests up postive for PMA.
We have a donation jar, and although some people are generous giving up to 5 dollars for the service, we rely on our people as volunteers, if its a large event - the goodwill (and common sense!) of the promoters for tickets and free stall space. The donation money helps pay for new lollies, new banners etc. Sometimes if someone can't afford get to an event to run the stall we dip into it for petrol and suchlike. Oh we also just purchased a shelter to keep God's harsh winds off us.
Johnboy also keeps 1 larger supply of test kits with Simon's Robadope and the Cobalt cocaine tester just in case.

Wow! thanks so much for all your info thats been a big help.
I think to start of with if this does go ahead which im praying it does it will be quite small as the club ive been talking to isnt that big and I would probably just have a small table in a quiet corner.
You sound like you have a very organised operation going on there, im very impressed and I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to put time and effort into such a good cause.
Thanks again for your help.

if you ever want to have an icq/im session with one, or more, of us, we can talk you thru all the many things that Soma hasnt touched on. Not that the above isn't complete, it's justt here's always so many little details that help.
Oh and I still don't have Robadope in the testing kit. Just Simon's, Cocaine, Mecke and squeezy bottle Marquis...
