Pill Reports - Comments import

Is there any chance we can have the old comments imported into the new database? Seems a shame that they are lost as there is a lot of useful information which people have commented about on certain pill reports.

I realise that the usernames have not been recreated from the old database and therefore cannot be attached to the comments via the 'posted by' field, but how about populating the 'posted by' field with the 'pill reports v1' username which you have used for the reports and perhaps appending the old username to the actual comments field as text?

Another suggestion which I think would be really useful is if we could select an option to order the reports by 'last posted to date' based on comments made rather than the date the pill report was submitted. The only way to check for new comments at the moment is to open all the reports.

Also, will the archived pill reports be available in full? I think these are still useful even if they are old.

Does anyone else think these things would be useful?

yep, still a bit to iron out i think, but it looks pretty good. What was this new site made with? looks great.
I had a prob with the re send activation, it wouldnt let me enter all the digits for my email, so i had to create another accnt, but the terms say no multiple accnts, i will have to delete one?

The new site is killing me! Glad I have a stock of tabs to last me a fucking while cuz its really useless now imo!

Yeah people need to start sending and resending in reports. Therre like little to no information on there. The ecstasy community is going to be clueless for like a week or two.

Archived pills and old comments will not be available. We are trying to positivley reinforce a higher standard of reports that will be available on the site, unfortuantley for the next few weeks there may not be as many reports as you'd all like. But as stated in this thread its up to you guys to add the new reports and ensure they meet the new strict guidelines so less experienced users can benefit from your experiences and knowledge.

As for your sorting suggestion, I'll make a note of that one, seems quite useful to be able to do that.

i mean is it a nuke site? looks like one.

As in PHP Nuke? No way. This was handed coded from scratch by a team of very talented PHP5 and web developers.

I thought I would just add to this thread rather than creating a new one because its related to comments.

Is it possible to have a formatting difference between the comment information (user, date, etc) and the comment. It makes it very difficult to read having them all the same text/formatting.

Maybe a line break, bolding or some other type of formatting?

Just a suggestion for easier reading :)

Yep, we'll be fixing the comment display up soon. At the moment we are working on a better layout display for reports, and this should be sometime tonight.
