Yes, keep posting this stuff. It's not as if the more people who know about these chemicals will go and order them and start selling them and ODing on them.
I mean, hey, they're just going to be legal forever no matter how many people use them!
 
Whatever, Pikhal and Tikhal are probably the most well known pieces of info on research chemicals and whatnot. I don't think posting a link to Errowid (which is probably the most well known drug website) is going to hurt the research chems current situation. Its not like any new damaging information has been let out that might risk the status of these chemicals. Anybody that knows a remote amount of info about drugs already has read pikhal and tikhal. You might as well bitch at the Shulgin's for making the information public in the first place.
 
I don't think either book will have a huge impact on the research chemical ban that will happen in the next few years. If you haven’t seen the books you really should check them out. Although you can get the 2nd half to both books at Erowid , the first half of each book is really really good for any psychonutt. When they make these drugs illegal it will spur interest in them , and the black market producers will be able to get top dollar for them. So….banning them may help get them out on the market. As long as they are sold legitimately the cartels won’t bother.
 
First, I would rather kids read about these chemicals in PiHKAL/TiHKAL and gain that knowledge, as oposed to having them hear about "lucky 7" from a friend then railing a gagger... furthermore, MOST of the chemicals in his books are already illegal, just about every other one is covered by the analog act...
Secondly, if (when) outlawed, you will NOT SEE 2C-T-7, 2C-T-2, 5-MeO-DiPT, etc... these drugs are far to difficult to manufacture given hoe little profit there is - you will NEVER see these made in a clandestine setting.. if outlawed, they will fade away into oblivian - I would imagine other countries would follow the lead of the US in restricting them too (read: 2C-B) ..
So I DEFINITLY recomend that EVERYONE read All of Shuglins books - another one thats really good is "Controlled Substances" ...

The "if outlawed you probably won't see them" thing is exactly why everyone should stop announcing the whole subject to the world.
The only reason they're showing up on the streets is because all of the sudden everyone wants to flash it everywhere on the internet so every moron on earth can do what they will with them.
When only people who actually have the time to do research about them can get them, less things go wrong. Instead of leading morons to the pyramids, let intelligent people find them on their own.
 
Look, Information is NOT something to be elitest about... Only the intelligent and dedicated are going to be able to read Shulgin, understand what the hell he is talking about, search the internet for a source and order it...
It would be an entirely different story if he said "Hey man, you can get this great legal drug XXXY at www.sadihfask;jdh.com" But that isn't what he said.
What he said was , "read about some interesting chemicals in Shulgin's book Pihkal, available online at..."
To just refuse to talk about them is no better than broadcasting them to the entire world.
