What if I touched you? Would
you shatter..
Pieces of you scattered throughout my life,
Each piece with it's own significant meaning,
however useless
without them all put together.
So you, my brother, yes you..
the one who walks with the air of importance but who has no purpose.
You are the one who got tangled in my web of
silver threads,
so tightly knit together,
but so easily torn apart,
by just another face,
another somebody trying to clean their house,
Picking up the pieces of a puzzle
that was never completed.
A touch can be harmless..
if it a brush from a stranger
passing by on the street,
for one moment in time.
A touch can cause pain,
when it seeps beneath the skin,
there it is felt for eternity,
While silver threads are spun in lines
that end and meet again.
