Hi all,

I stumbled on some conflicting information. There are those who claim that d-amp is physically addictive. However the withrawal symptoms seem rather psychological in nature than physical to me.
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Irritability
  • Low energy levels
  • Fatigue
  • Agitation
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Extreme hunger and thirst
  • Chills
  • Strange dreams
  • Lack of interest in things one would normally be interested in
  • Muscle aches
  • Drug cravings
  • Psychotic symptoms like paranoia and hallucinations

Although muscle aches is a physical symptom.

On https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_dependence I can not find amphetamines in the list. And it is considered safe to quit cold turkey from amphetamines.
I thought d-amp's physical dependence liability was classed as None. And psychological dependence liability moderate.

Subjectively, I never had any physical withdrawal effects when quitting d-amp. But I had a friend that felt sick when quitting. I do think this was due to malnutrition and poor sleep.

What are your thoughts on this?

Amos are safe to quit cold Turkey, the muscle aches, twitches, and chills are from as you suggest malnutrition and lack of sleep. Changes in blood pressure can cause chills.

That being said, their may be exceptions. I have heard about people having seizures after quitting d Amps, it may be a very rare occurrence. Or brought on by other drugs/conditions.
