Guess they are not checking refrences, or else they didn't think walking off with thousands of C-II drugs was enough to tarnish ones image as a Certified Pharmacy Tech .. basically I blame my multiple drug ddictions for my lapse in judgement when I threw a really good job doing tech-support to the wind - if you can consider ANY facet of 'tech-support' to be "good" - I was getting paid to play online and talk to idiots.. well, rather then give two-weeks notice I decided to just kinda stop going - hey, they fired me before and took me back, so the third time should be easy! Sadly, um, the 9-11 attacks fucked the economy up so now the job market is shit or something... well, them drugs don't pay for themselves...
So I applied at a local pharmacy (not the same chain I used to work for, the other one in Florida)... I even gave the real info for the previous PhT job, which I quit because they accused me of walking off with a crate of controlled substances, something *I* would never do, I was framed, the security tape was apart of the Al Queda plot of terror on America .. a photo-copy of my cert and a drug test was all that was needed to let me frolic in the pharmacy (figure out where I work and win! The door code is 4335 8) .. I now remember WHY I hated the job so much... shit pay, horrible hours, and the pharmacist thats there durring my shift is this perky bitch thats fresh out of pharmacist-school (like 6 years of college and 2 years residency to count pills, should have went the extra 2 years of school to get her M.D.) .. the type that calls to verify a script for 90 5mg Valium because the person that brings it in isn't shaking with anxiety - unlike my previous pharmacist that started each day with a couple hundred mg's of codeine syrup in his coffee each morning.. she hasn't been back there long enough to really hate the job..
I give it 6 months before I spray everyone down with an automatic gun or walk off with another crate of shit... I mean, before I am framed of such acts... naa, they would prosecute at this place (though when dope-hungery, ones mind isn't always in the right place) ..
Kids, DO NOT WORK FOR A PHARMACY! (Or work for one where the pharmacist is a dope fiend too!)
.. there was no point to this, feel free to lock it.. I figgured I would share my pain.. hopefully I hookup tonight with some OC-80's

People's lives start and end this way!
Box of 1000 pill jars of Oxycontin 80mgs. WHAT!
Back door holdup by a masked man! What!
The possibilities are...I should be quiet.
Worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd up dun.

er... get the feeling these people are gonna regret hiring PhreeX
I want to work for a dope fiend pharmacist!
*Mum can I?*

Everyone I've known under 25 that works or have worked in a pharm is a gotdamn pillhead, hey phreex what about remnant supply (like when people bring in there unused portion) my buddy told me he used to skim off the top of those no problem, 'til he got caught-arrested-and terminated lol.

Remnant supply? Perhaps for some conjuncted estrogens or something... I have NEVER seen any controlled stuff come back ..
My how technology has progessed over the last few years (I have been out of this field for almost 4 years) .. the easiest way I could see to abuse the system is to hang on to reciepts for goodies with refills, then phone them in and have a friend pick them up before the customer.. great for benzos and hydrocodone, but of course no C-II treats.. or I could freak out and run off with a bin of shit (except this isn't a "narcotics heavy" store) - I checked inventory and there are 100 Dilaudid (2mg - an un-opened bottle thats been in the store for 4 months) and less then 180 OxyContin (80mg) ... and like I said, the pharmacist keeps it all locked up, even following procedures like locking the cabinet after taking out bottles (rather then leaving it opened as you will have to put the stuff back) .. plus security is greatly increased and there is that pesky little 7-year suspended sentence thing I am doing for my own enjoyment..

Anytime the goverment regulates the actual manufacture of a substance that will fuck you up, you better believe the consequences of fucking with it are steep...
As it appears you already know, PhreeX...
I'd still scam them.
I kNOW TRICKS, WHAT!

Actually I am on this 7-year deal for moving in with the wrong guy (he failed to mention he was under investigation by the secret service for counterfeiting) .. 4 years ago I (hypothetically) decided to quit my job as a tech by walking out with the "red bin" in the areas narcotics-heavy store.. 300 Dilaudid (4mg) hundreds of MSIR, thousands of Xanax, thousands of hydrocodone, thousands of oxycodone combos, a few hundred OxyContin .. they called me and said "look, we just want the stuff back" to which I replied "fine, if you're going to accuse me, I quit" (being innocent of course) ...
But yeah, in this time and in this city they wouldnt hesitate to press charges..

No, don't ever say such things.. imagine McDonalds, but instead of burgers you serve drugs, and hardly ever any fun shit, most people are taking anti-biodics, heart pills, or stuff for "female problems" .. it's not like you're counting Dilaudid and Duragesic out all day, shit, a busy pharmacy MIGHT see one or two Dilaudid scripts in a year - and it's VERY RARE that you get off as easy as [they claim] I did .. most pharmacy staff are watched very carefully, and what the pharmacist misses the cameras catch.. now if your pharmacist is a junkie, things actually get HARDER because if the techs steal, the pharmacist cant pinch as much for himself .. oh yeah, I forgot to mention insurance and the fact that most of the people that come in are sick, already had to miss a day of work, etc.. so when you tell Ms. Lady her rare and expairmental parkinsons drug script totals $748, yeah, they explode at you as though we can just add it to their formulary...
I hate the pharmacy...

Kids, DO NOT WORK FOR A PHARMACY!

Sigh...I beg to differ...
I too have a sad tale of regret and misfortune, but almost exactly the opposite of yours. I threw a really good job working at a pharmacy away to the wind, in order to do my current job, comp-tech support.
I, like many others, fell under the allure that is getting paid 12 bucks an hour to sit on my ass and play online all day long, plus all the insane fucking benefits (Great Medical Insurance, No drug test, pay for my college etc etc). Not to mention, at that point in time I had no need to work in a pharmacy, I could get literally anything I wanted at the time in the way of pharmaceuticals (I wasn't into banging or opiates much back then, so silly me, I never really got into OC's, or Dilaudid or the countless other real goodies)...
And, this would have been a particularly SWEET pharmacy job too. No cameras, no security measures or record keeping of any kind really. See, I grew up my whole life in a SMALL town in Texas, and everyone knew everyone, and the pharmacist was an old family friend who ran the one neighboorhood pharmacy. The pharmacy was a total mess as far as inventory went, but it didn't matter, it exsisted not for profit or as a real buisness so much as a way for a successful old man to waste away his remaining days. It was essentially there to service the one doctor's office in the town, which of course was across the street, and the legion of soccer mom benzo freaks that made up our humble town...
We are talking textbook Norman Rockwell Americana, one ripe and begging to be exploited by whacked out drug abusing hipsters and thier total lack of morals and values, like me...
I had already assessed the situation in person a thousand times, and it was solid fucking gold, the perfect job, tons of pills, and no real legal ramifications if caught being that the pharmacist was a close friend...
Anyways, in my haste, I forgot that no matter how good it is, or what it seems like, drug hook-ups are always temporary at best. So I decided to go with the goddamn tech support job (Which I am typing to you right now from), it was closer to school and more convienient in the end
And needless to say, I lost that hook-up a while ago, a victim to some silly fucking Drug War...
So here I am weeping like a little school girl who skinned her knee, dreaming of Oxy's and Dilaudid, reduced to a second rate world of everyday pills, resigned to eating lortabs by the handful in some futile attempt at bliss...
The pharmacy was shut down a few months ago as the pharmacist finally retired...the dream had finally died...
Sigh...
I suppose I can find comfort in knowing that if I had never taken the tech support job, I wouldn't have ever fucking discovered Bluelight...as soon as I did...sigh...

"id like to be a pharmacy tech to get me sum adderal"
Man pleez, I hope you're kidding. Those things are too damn easy (and inexpensive) to get to risk getting arrested.

AbraMontague: Not everyone knows a pill dealer, and Adderall is a bit harder to get than most of the opiates. You might be able to fake ADD to the point where you can get Ritalin (whoop-de-frickin-doo) but it takes a little more effort to get yourself a prescription for a CII drug.

ritalin and adderall are NOT harder to get than opiates. go to any college or university and you'll find about half the kids there (it seems) are prescribed one form or other of speed to help their 'add.' shit, i think the aquious (sp) rain at my school has actually been replaced by little blue pills with AD marked on them.
