Someone I Know just bought some 2-Phenylethylamine very cheap and wants to try if has any use for his ADHD or if can help to reduce Amphetamine comedown depression.

Now the person has foud out that its a liquid and because he has only little chemical knowledge, he is wondering what that means. Is it the freebase and there is just no HCL attached? And if yes could there be a problem with just mixing it with water and drinking it, will it be resorbed normally, or what?

(the person knows that there will probably no effect at all because of the Mao-B and also because of his tollerance to real stimulants like methylphenidat and amphetamine-type stuff he takes very often)

By the way: this stupid guy also takes SSRI and Bupropion every day, maybe someone has a comment on combining these with the PEA?

Thank you for your help

Don't drink the freebase liquid it'll be corrosive, it would need to be reacted with clean acid to form a crystaline salt.

Personally I'd just throw it away.

It is easy to just salt out the base with aqueous hydrochloric acid and recrystalize phenethylamine HCl. Failing that, it is even easier to add a given amount of liquid freebase (do the molar calculations) to acidic water and have it suspended in solution. It won't really do anything unless taken with a small dose of (l)-deprenyl, however. Never go above 5-10mg per day of (l)-deprenyl, especially considering the SSRI. In fact, I wouldn't recommend mixing (l)-deprenyl with an SSRI to someone unless I was sure they knew what the fuck they were doing--this guy doesn't sound like he has a lot of knowledge about pharmacology.

Liquid PEA freebase smells like asshole--it has an almost burning smell, courtesy of the primary amine moiety.

<3Thank you for your help.

I don´t want to take the selegiline, not because of the SSRI (citalopram) but because of the daily Bupropion which is a (crappy) dopamine RI and the ritalin which i don´t want to stop for a long time.

I thought about the seligine a wile ago, in normal doses it only ihibits MAO-B only so there should be no problem with the SSRI, right?
But because it is a irreversible inhibitor i was afraigt if and when i can take the bupropion and ritalin again? Didn´t find data on how long it takes to build new Mao-B. Maybe you know?

If you manage to make it safe for consumption, co-administer curcumin and piperine. This'll provide some MAO-B inhibition at 27.5 mg/kg (a rather high dose, so be careful).

Well, it is worth noting that members here have successfully, and carefuly used stimulants like methylphenidate with selegiline (which is neuroprotective). IT is definitely not something that can be done without being really, really careful.

You would need to take it with an MAO-A inhibitor to get a significant effect out of it.
