I just got some of this from my doc to lose some weight, its only for 5 weeks...I'm alittle leary of it, because of my past dependense on diet pills containing ephedra...:( So far I've felt fine, its only 30mg but this is some potent stuff...I mean I've had to force myself to eat...is this normal? I've also been haveing some serious head akes...What's the deal with that? I felt a general sense of well being earler this morning...and now I feel like I'm crashing...not to mention I'm a coffee fanatic wish doesn't help with the jittering...I'm also grinding my teeth again...God I hate that...but atleast if its working...:p

What you describe sounds like normal Phentermine to me...

However, I do not know how anyone can think Ephedrine is better - they are both pretty low on the ampheramine pereference chain, but this one is better than ephedrine I think, by far.

And in my expreince, this is the one drug that completely obliterates the desire to for food...

Phentermine is a pretty rough & ready version of amphetamine. It will stop you eating, but it had chance to make you feel like shit at the 10 hour point (the 30mg will be slow release). Best advice is to eat breakfast, then take the phentermine. If it's leaving you feeling like death warmed up, see your doctor

thanks guys for your advice...I've been doing alittle bit better this morning, my jaw hurts, *wonder why* God I feel like that mother in Requiem for a Dream...8( not that bad but you know what I mean...

Phentermine is a great appitite suppressant but man, that shit has some horrible aftereffects! If you get past a certain spot with it then you end up coming down HARD, not to mention my fucking hair started falling out. Screw that stuff.

Phentermine is great for short term weight loss because you do not eat. Your body goes into starvation mode which is not good. Consider it a jump start. You have to exercise and choose the right foods during and after you stop using it in order to maintain and/or continue weight loss.

I liked the way it made me feel. I dig a speedy euphoric high anyway. I tolerated the dry mouth, dizziness, headaches, tremors, insomnia, and mood swings (those around me tolerated) just to feel and look thin. Pathetic and hollow, now that I think of it. I have always been a lazy girl.

I used Phentermine (37.5mg) for almost 11 months. I became tolerant to the drug around 6 or 7 months but kept desperately chugging along.

A year later, I have gained back 10 lbs and another 8% body fat.

If you cannot handle the side effects or use it how it is intended, get off it. You may be better off.

I ordered Phentermine

I have about 10 pounds I want to lose. Since I started working from home, I feel damn fat and it's pissing me off. I tried running (I'll probably go back to it) but I hurt my knees I think from pushing myself too hard too fast. I know phentermine increases heart rate, but I still want to walk/run.

I'm curious if anyone else has experience with it. My problem is night time snacking, so I want to take it at about 2pm to kill my cravings. I was thinking that I could walk/run in the mornings before taking it? I don't know if that will make a difference though.

You might have a tough time sleeping.

Eat at night but eat good food. Stop buying tempting foods. Find other activities to do instead of late night eating. Get more sleep.

It is tough. I get it. As a recovering binge eater, nightly weed smoker, and former lazy arse who sought temporary desperate salvation in a pill, I now know better. I am embarrassed that it took me so long to exercise 5 days a week and cook/eat healthy. Man, I would have looked soooo hot in my 20's AND I would have felt better mentally/emotionally too. Live and learn <3

Running sucks. It's hard on your body and less efficient at burning calories than the following suggestions: Swimming, bicycling, and climbing stairs are much preferred by me.
