Hi, my name is Circle of Fiends and I'm a daily stimulant user.
Ive tried nearly every stimulant RC on the market, as well as some shittier stuff like ephedra, propylhexedrine and caffeine pills. I wasn't expecting much from phentermine after reading the mostly negative trip reports online. I've been getting increasingly negative effects from 2-FMA and 4-FA, so what the heck? Might as well try it and see if I can at least lose some weight.
I started with 15 mg on a full stomach. It took about 35 minutes to fully kick in. The first alerts were strange visual changes I can't really put my finger on, along with some adrenaline rushes. My heart rate was noticeably higher than usual but I didn't measure the exact number of beats. It was surprisingly intense. Glad I only took half a pill! I felt the need to constantly move, which is not my normal state (even on amphetamines). My muscles are extremely tense, but in a good way.
The stimulation is more physical than mental but not quite as "dirty" as ephedra or caffeine. My appetite is pretty dead, though I can still choke down food with some large gulps of water. The dry mouth is insane. Wouldn't want to exercise on this drug for fear of my heart exploding!
I broke the remaining 15 mg pill in half and took it over the course of the evening. I found myself being much more spontaneous than usual and decided to visit some friends. We watched a movie and I was thoroughly entertained throughout, which again is not usually the case. I hate most movies and don't have the attention span to sit through them. By the time I got home, I was still feeling pretty stimulated but broke off a tiny bit more to boost it back up. I had a healthy dinner but did not overeat like I usually do. Sleep came at about 5:00 a.m. with the help of my good friends 'melatonin' and 'Benadryl'. Woke up after only 5 hours though.
Overall, I'd say phentermine is a pretty decent drug. It's like the bastard child of ephedra and propylhexedrine. If you don't like those drugs, you probably wouldn't like phen. Amphetamines are a mental stimulant that acts on dopamine while phen is a more physical norepinephrine-driven rush. It's surprisingly more tweaky than meth, which I only tried once but found very smooth. Mostly, phen showed me just how depressed and anxious amphetamines have been making me lately. It's evident my dopamine system needs a break, and this is the perfect (albeit expensive) way to do it.
