Misc Phenobarbital tolerance?

I got a hold of a couple dozen 30mg phenobarbital pills. The search engine has helped me out with what to expect for effects and safety. What I couldn't find is how long of a break you need between doses to avoid tolerance. I took 30 mg last night and felt very little. I was going to try 60 mg next time, but I know this has a very long half life. How long do I need to wait so that I'm at zero, or essentially zero tolerance? I'm certainly not trying to make a habit out of this, and I can be patient. I just want to be able to titrate the dose up slowly to get a good feel of the drug with what stock I have. I'd pick up some "better" barbs if I ever came across them, but only have this for now.
