I've been taking Phenibut on and off for about a month and a half. At 1st I was taking higher amounts like 2-4 grams a day a couple times a week but have lowered it to about 1 grams a day a a couple times a week.

I have been without Phenibut for 48 hours and I'm not sure if I'm experiencing withdrawal symptoms or not...feel kinda weird with upset stomach and digestive issues.

My question is...I just want to make sure I don't do anything to start a seizure, if I take 300 mg now after 48 hours is that okay and then tapper from their.

Thanks for any advice!

I spoke with a pharmacist and she advised me to take 1/2 a dose for 3-4 days and keep tampering like so. Just in case it is withdrawals. Sounded like good advise to me.

The only WD effect I got during my ~8 months of phenibut was bad anxiety/worrying & a bit of paranoia (the "What if...?'s" if that makes sense.) I never had stomach or digestive issues. I was using a bit more than you (at peak 3-4g per day) and the WD was all psychological but very real. There was really no craving or anything, just the anxiety/negative state of mind, which phenibut was a cure for in the first place (and of course a dose would fix it, but it wasn't always on my mind like withdrawl from other things.) I think you're on the right track with the taper, but it's probably best to wait until you feel a bit of withdrawl, then take the smallest dose possible to alleviate it. It might just be that your worrying about the withdrawl IS the withdrawl! Having been there myself I know this is a definite possibility. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the reply. I think you are definitely right about worrying about the withdrawl. I was fine until I read something about someones severe withdrawl symptoms. Did you taper off?
