In an effort to reduce my insane phenibut tolerance, I'm looking at potentiating drugs, and also increasing it's BA by changing my ROA.
I'm considering either sublingual, or IR; IV and insufflating are out of the question. Of course, I would need to get it's highly acidic ph down to use these alternate ROA. In general, I'd appreciate any ways of increasing the BA of phenibut. Decreasing it's duration of action would be good, but it's not my primary goal. Of course, phenibut is processed exclusively in the stomach and liver, so perhaps there's no point in changing up my ROA? I've heard there could be benefits to changing phenibut to a salt, but I'm not sure what this would involve.
As for potentiating, right now I'm considering valerian, kava, and gaba. We all know gaba can't cross the BBB; I've read some intriguing anecdotal evidence that gaba does have a mild sedative effect, however. Also, I've read a study in which a group of severe agoraphobics were split into two groups, half were given placebo, half were given gaba. They were then put into high-stress situations; interestingly, the gaba group showed significantly reduced stress levels. Perhaps adding gaba to phenibut could have some kind of synergistic effect? Kava and valerian have some gaba-b activity; perhaps these could also potentiate phenibut?
