Phenazepam - What is the lethal dose? help needed!!

i think a friend may have very much over done and possibly even taken up to half a gram (of possibly phenazepam) he ingested this at around 5am this morning the time is now 8.30 pm within 15 minutes of taking the powder he was completely out of it yet still breathing and occsasionally murmuring.

and ideas? how long will he be likely to be in this state?

and help appreciated,thanks.
 
Man if he ate 500mg he is gonna be out of it for a few days at least. I advise hospital he could vomit in his mouth and aphysceate.
 
I know everyone says you cant die from a benzo overdose by itslef but this seems terribly extreme I want to reinterate take his ass to the hospital NOW.
 
Shouldn't you call an ambulance for your mate instead of posting on here, this stuff isn't tobe fucked with, lost 2 days on this stuff, it might be a legal benzo, but IMO I'd rather have no benzos than that shit
 
if it really is phenazepam, and he really did take 500 mg, he needs to go to the hospital ASAP. Even if he has a tolerance, thats 50X the "safe" maximum amount (10 mg). And if he's that whacked out after 15 min, he needs to get some treatment immediatly.

Phenazepam is not something to fuck around with. I almost died from mixing a 1lb dose of poppy pod tea with around 2 (!) mg of phenazepam, (and having ingested 300 mg DXM 3-4 hours prior). The combination caused my nervous system to be so depressed that I developed blood clots in my arm, did heavy acute damage to my liver and kidneys, and may have caused some nerve damage as well (and some hearing loss).

SO...your friend needs professional help, and he needs it now. If my friends had waited even 20 minutes before they called 911 after finding me, I would most certainly have died.

[Edit: I should also add that of those three, phenazepam was most certainly the culprit, because I was given one or more shots of Naloxone, and it did nothing to reverse my condition.]

It supposed to be impossible to kill yourself on benzos with nothing else, but that is probably untested at 500 mgs.

Bite the bullet and take him to the fucking hospital.

LOL, he might starve to death before he wakes up
 
ok cheers but im not 100% sure it is phenazepam.

the reason we havent done so sooner is because we are used to him getting himself into various combitose states on various substances,sleeping for hours on end sniffing 2g or more lines of ketamine etc.

Treatment for known overdoses of benzos alone is basically monitoring and supportive measures.

The real problem is benzos combined with other drugs. Even at normal therapeutic levels, other drugs can interact with benzos in a lethal way.

In this case you're not certain what drug has been taken. How certain are you that your friend had no other drugs in his system at the time he took the powder?

Because the information you do have isn't certain enough, I would get him evaluated by a doctor. It would be irresponsible of us to tell you that he's fine to sleep it off when we don't know for sure what he's taken and whether there were other drugs in his system which could cause dangerous interactions.
 
Take him to the hospital! That is a lot of phenazepam, probably enough to knock out an elephant, and if he has taken any other kind of CNS depressant it is likely that a dose like that could kill him.

Also, if he is doing crazy shit like this all the time he probably needs the scrutiny that is going to come from him being admitted for an overdose. I don't think anyone who is happy with their lives is going to risk taking a dose of 500 mg. Hell, they might even admit him for a three day psych evaluation depending where you are at. He might be pissed at you for a while, but if he gets the help he seems to need he will more than likely thank you in the end.
 
Stay the FUCK away from Phenazepam! I even had my Phenazepam diluted in a solution of 3mg/ml from my source and I had like a week black out, I don't remember shit. I guess I downed the whole 90mg of Phenazepam in a few days and my mom had to take me to the hospital because I had a fever of 103.3 and a big goosbump on my forehead, and had a CAT Scan done, full blood work, 2 EKG's done. (I don't remember any of this, I just remember a little bit of talking to the doctors like just nodding my head). Fuck Phenazepam, you don't know what you are getting since it is a Research Benzodiazepine, and HIGHLY dangerous. Any RC is HIGHLY dangerous.
 
I found an equivalence table which includes phenazepam. 0.5mg - 1mg of phenazepam is the equivalent of 10mg of Valium. The half-life is 60 hours.

So your friend has taken the equivalent of 5 to 10 grams of Valium and half of it will still be in his blood two and a half days from when he took it.

Hospital really seems like the best place for him. They can monitor him, keep him hydrated, etc - this shit's going to take quite a while to wear off.
 
hes now concious and talking a little,he can count,he also pissed himsef while he was comatose,he can know make it to the toilet with a little helf from wsome friens

i think 6-APB 100mg pellet he at aroung 2amish didnt help matters either

Dear lord. He's quite determined to fuck himself up on RCs, isn't he?

From what I've read, phenazepam is notorious for unintentional redoses - people forget what they've taken and take more until their whole stash is gone.
