phenazepam dosing techniques??

anyone out there have any ideas on phenazepam dosing. im sure an average dose is 1-2mg. ive heard alot about dissolving it in alchol and using a dropper or even then placing it on blotter paper.

my idea was to make capsules. based on this ratio:100mg added and mixed thouroughly to 900mg of an inactive filler like powdered sugar. this ratio would result in a 100mg of the combined mixtured containing 1mg of acttive phenazepam.

similar ratios applie such as 200mg of phenazepam added and mixed with 900800mg of an inactive ingredient like powdered sugar. this ratio would equal out to 1000mg of the final product would contain 2mg of active phenazepam.

Im not a chemist or anything i just came up with this on my own. i have oly read ways of doing this with alcohol and blotter paper or liquid drops,mg/ml. but i have not found any info on making it into pill form. id like to make pills that have a consistant dose.

any info would help, thanx
 
there is another thread in add that touches on this.

i would be worried about problems with density: when you mix the active ingredient with another powder, differing densities might cause an unexpected concentration at the top or bottom after its mixed. this might be far fetched, and i hope someone will correct me if it is. nonetheless, apparently phenezepam is very potent and small inaccuracies with dosing could be harmful.

i think a solution would be safest.
 
perhaps use the method described in the first post, but instead adding in water and shaking vigorously when mixing? then allow water to evaporate. How about it.
 
Dissolving in a known amount of high proof alcohol and using a pipette works so easily I don't know why anyone would bother with other methods. Maybe laying blotter but they're never truly laid evenly.
 
mmm...phen' also doesn't dissolve readily in 95 percent ethanol without heating (obviously, double-boiler and kitchen vent ONLY). It will more easily dissolve in PEG or a solution of mostly ethanol and PEG.
 
Dissolve your 100 mg of phenazepam in 100 ml of 99% isopropyl alcohol (it will take a bit of shaking). Then, using an oral syringe, suck up your desired dose and squirt it onto a paper towel. Let it dry and consume!

Wouldn't it be wiser to start your substance in question in a cylinder which has already been marked at 100mL, then add your ethanol or peg to make 100mL? All of my studies show that when you start with 100mL of alcohol or peg then add your solute, you're going to end up with slightly more than 100mL of said solvent, ie 103, 104 maybe. This then throws off your known value some. May not be much, but I believe the substance we're talking about here doesn't take much...
 
I found phenazepam dissolves easily when placed in 95% ethanol, then stirred and heated lightly (Put in front of a room heater blowing out hot air that is 90degrees Fahrenheit)

You're correct. This is the proper way to prepare a solution of a known concentration. I think you're overestimating the error by about an order of magnitude, though.

Ah i like this idea.
 
Given the nature of the compound its probably best to use propylene glycol rather than IPA.
If any of the IPA evaporates as it is prone to do you could end up with a stronger concentration that you intended.
 
I gave up on it. It takes forever to hit you. Like 2 hours for me and by then the shits already hit the fan so to speak.
