I am prescribed 10mg of suboxone a day.
Recently I was transferred from the tabs to the film.
My Pharmacy is only giving me 1 * 8mg strip a day instead of the 10mg I'm prescribed.
They claimed this was because the film is 20 Percent more efficient, bioavalibility wise, therefore 8mg equals my original dose.
Ignore the fact that as I previously injected the tabs and so bioavalibility was 100%.
Is what the pharma saying true?
Or are they trying to rip me off?
Should they really be taking bioavalibility into account, or should they just give me the prescribed dose?
Should I report them to my doctor or will that make me look stupid?
Maybe they are stealing the extra for their own habit or to sell...
