Pharmaceutical dose of DXM with weed?

I heard that dextromethorphan lowers you tolerance of many drugs, as well as potentiate.

Was thinking of taking 30 mgs of DXM one hour before smoking.

Would 30 mgs of DXM affect the weed high at all?
 
It depends on how sensitive to DXM you are, how much weed you smoke, and when you smoke it. I've come to recognize the subtle effects of DXM, and I'd have to say that any dose that eases your cough is also changing your thought processes, if only slightly. If you smoke enough cannabis at the right time, you should be able to notice the certain flavor DXM brings to the experience. If nothing else, I can't see it not intensifying the weed :\
 
^Yeah, DXM seems to make tobacco less enjoyable, while at the same time lowering your tolerance to it. While I'm on a highish dose of DXM, I hardly want to smoke cigarettes much at all. Some people say tobacco intensifies the DXM high, but in my experience tobacco just makes the high less pleasant.
 
This low dose definitely did something, I felt different.

When I smoked a cigarette much didn't change, not even the nausea.

When I toked a tiny bowl, boy was I clapped. I have a moderate tolerance to weed but I felt it. The high was subtle but enjoyable. Calm and relaxing with the enjoyable dxm thought proccess.

I'm still feeling happy but they may just be me, not the drugs since I slept like 8 hours.

Any one else have experiences with this? :)
 
thats weird , on dxm i feel cigarettes go great with it , AND my tolerance [for tobacco] is higher not lower during trip
 
Yes indeed. I can definitely feel low doses of DXM. ~30mg.

It's subtle and it does change thought process. Kinda like in a good-mood-type feeling, and feeling a bit lighter or different when you walk. I'm actually more social with 30ish mg of DXM. doses 80-100mg + and I start to need to lay down and ride it when peaks. It's more confusing for me in high doses. Not saying it's bad, i just prefer low doses.

I don't have much experience with it.


It is great with weed, makes the dxm feel stronger and also the weed feel stronger.
