Hi Perthies. I'll be coming to this event from Melbourne [as Mooshie mentioned above]... can someone please explain this 'venue hopping' idea to me? Are these venues all right next to each other... or what's the deal? :|

Looking muchly forward to this event :D

Metros and Old Berlin are about 50m-70m away from each other, so its safe to take a stroll down. Capitol on the other hand is on the other side of the City. Good for a walk if u can be fukt during the night. Otherwise i'm pretty sure the 'Nightcruiser' will be circulating between Metro City and Capitol so u can catch the Bus all night long if needed

you meet some interesting people on those shuttle buses.
Dont touch the windows by the way, by the end of the night so many of themh have had someones arse cheeks pressed against them.

Ahh very good, looks like Old Berlin is the place, bit dnbd out atm. Yeh I'll still be there without ya johnny hehe

Haha, sorry Anton =D

Cant wait for this now, so many ppl not going though, somehow just wont be the same.....

I'll be up for a cruisey, chatty night if any one cares to meet....:)

Who is planning to venue hop? Originally I wanted to stay in Metro until 4ish and then go to Old Berlin to see Anne Savage. But now, I figure thats not going to work, because:
a) I'd be too munted
b) it's be freezing cold
c) lining up in te Old Berlin in what could possibly be a packed out venue at that time is sad, given a) and b) above..

I think I will stay and roll hard as, in Metro :)

yeah im gona hit the gooner bus neva done it b4 ahhaha but i wanna get in berlin b4 it gets 2 packed..... i heard anne savage isnt as hard anymore that she has changed her style a bit???? anyone got any of her latest sets

Not into DnB at the moment... anyone know what kind of tunes will be played in each club? ... I'm unaware of any of these DJ's (besides Anne Savage) ... and would prefer to choose a venue as opposed to swapping and changing

Metros = House/Electro/Tech-House/Breaks

Old Berlin - Hard Trance etc

Capitol - DnB/Hip Hop/Breaks

Latest set I got of hers is her Essential Mix from July 2005, not as hard as she has been but still definately kickin. Mind you, she is playing the final set so it could be a blow ya socks off, hard as nails set :)

Ah what a night! The planned quiet one ended up being quite the rager. Spent most the night in Metros, DJ Sneak played a pretty nice set, then James Zabiella came in and set it OFF. Harder than I expected which was great, the dude is apart of the decks I swear! And has anyone got any idea what his second and third last song he played was? One of these was probably the best song I heard all night and made the crowd go mental!

So heres to a great night :D and now I gots to try n study...

James Zabiela's set alone was worth the money spent on this event. Top bloke too, got to have a chat with him when he came down onto the dance floor and got photos taken with him too.

Friend's dragged me along to see Grandmaster Flash earlier in the night, he was unbelievably shit.

I fucken loved it.. DJ Sneak was banging those tunes out with his fat basslines and I was very impressed.. I didnt think he would be that good and he proved me wrong.

JZ... blew me out of my mind. he was so good that I nearly came in my pants. yes it was that good. I could not believe how good his mixing and scatching was.. I wished he could play longer. My appetite for his music was insatiable.

And as for Hernan, I enjoyed it still, dont get me wrong but progressive, almost "chill out" music wasnt doing it for me. I still danced but I wished it was harder, more banging.

I stayed mostly on the dancefloor and the dancing podiums all night, it was really really fun. :D

Hahah, you should have parked in the carpark situated at the back of metros! There were heaps of empty parking spaces there even at 11pm. Yes, it was freaking cold when I stumbled out of Metro at 6am :o
