Hi guys, this is just a little something I wrote last year... Didn't give it much thought but I decided to post it anyway. Any advice would be very welcome 
Perspectives
I see the world in black and white
Like shadows beneath sunrise we bid you goodnight
In a world, weakened by cracks, we stay above it all
It's too bad that everyone else has fallen below
I see the world through heroin eyes
Struggling, like everyone else, to find what's wrong or right
All the tragedy that we have seen in order to become
Just like the others, controlled and undone
I see the world in pillars of steel
Child slaves and soldiers as part of life's given deals
Consumption, consumption, the whole world consumed
By the voices of many; our planet's last interlude
I see the world as it will one day become
No longer dangerous, no longer sad, no longer ruled by the gun
Flowers will grow on graves forsaken by the past
Decay and destruction are dead from first to last
