Personal Pros & Cons

i was thinking about this the other day...

how often, when we need to make decisions, do we sit down and write out a list of pros and cons about the decision??

and then i got thinking about myself.. whether i had more pros than cons...

so anyways, heres my list, and i hope others share theirs too so i dont look like a complete twat!

PROS
*sociable
*funny (so i like to think.. )
*excellent job (dealing with over $400m in accounts)
*i own my own house (well, officially its the bank's house, but i'm paying it off!!)
*have a good car
*have pretty good body
*play 1st grade rugby union
*have an IQ of over 140
*caring
*loyal

CONS
*recreational drug user
*borderline alcoholic
*fear of commitment
*fear of rejection
*i'm a bit of a slut
*suffer from mild depression
*receeding hairline
*asthmatic
*smartass
*i refuse to get close to ppl
so all in all, i guess i should say i should feel pretty good about myself....

but its funny how often a con is related in some way to a pro....

Some of these can be taken either way.

You say recreational drug use is a con, to me it's a pro. Likewise the slut comment. Where as some may see the playing rugby as a con.

And sorry, I am not going to list my own.

wow, great post. Its very hard to look at yourself and be subjective, but here goes.

PROS
* Great job (my work gets recognised by over 50 million people every day of the week, and oprah and her network have recently become fans )
* Kind and compassionate
* Loyal
* Healthy (for the most part)
* Active physically and mentally every day
* Great relationship with family
* Love adventures

CONS
* Trying my damndest to give up smoking but finding it very hard
* Completely afraid of relationship commitment
* As muzby, fear of rejection, I hate it
* Can be selfish with my time
* Workaholic
* Like things done my way
* Don't like being tied down with anything

*Difficult to motivate
*Predictable (can be good sometimes)
*Not financially independent
*Not very artistic/creative
*Self image problems
*Low self esteem (I use arrogance to hide this)
*Can't handle rejection
*Over commit to relationships
*Spends too much time on BL
*Crap job
*Drug user

I am going to find this incredibly hard to categorise and divide all of my attributes into Pro's and Con's...
What I see as a Pro, ten other people could say is a Con.

That said, I'm prepared to give it a go...
I think I will only list personality traits, and not other life features. Make this a little easier, at least in theory?

I feel a bit vain having more godo then bad about myself from my own point of view but it's only been the last few years that i actually like who i am and accept me for me and concentrate on the good rather then the bad so why not

* Dont take Compliments/Criticism well. With Compliments i think people are having a laugh and with Criticism I take it as a major personal attack.
