Percocet Question need intelligent answer!

So I got into a car wreck a few days ago I have no insurance and and short on money as it is, my grandma has about 60 Percocet 5/325, she doesn't use them anymore because they are OLD. My question is, Im in a lot of pain can I take these??? They were in a closet door 100% of the time in the prescription bottles tightened well. The pills are in pretty nice condition, not soft or crumbly still very firm and print is well legible. Only thing is they were filled 1990. I know thats a looong time ago but all Im asking is for someone smart to tell me if I can take a few and still get some effect from them.... Like I said stored in a tin lid container and stored on a cool shelf in the dark closet. Any good :(
 
About 8 years ago i took a script of Vicodin that was issued in 1991 and didn't notice any difference in quality. Afaik percocet won't break down into anything harmful or toxic, it just won't work if it's too old. If it were me i'd definitely pop them.
 
I know Ill be fine but I don't wanna take em if the oxycodone is basically diminished.... but I mean pills were stored as good as you can store em and arent chalky soo idk....
 
Take one or two.. if you don't get any relief they're junk... I found an older bottle of percs that were fine.. So it's up to you.. Good luck!

But seriously, you'd still be putting the same stuff into your body as if it were good, just some of the active ingredients have broken down and lost their efficacy. Whatever doesn't kill you gets you higher.

LAST thing guys,, this morning around 6.am I took maybe 1.5 mg of suboxone, whats a REAL estimate so I can legitly test these badboys out?
