idk but to me i can spot out people who have done mushrooms alot,
who knows why, they just look more inclined with nature and i can sense it,
does anyone else have this same sense that they can feel when someone thats shroomed a lot walks into the room

also when in the wilderness i can feel the mushrooms presence even when i havent found them yet,
i was in the wilderness for 190 days and i became a master at finding mushrooms because i developed this sense

does anyone else have this or am i retarded

Definitly retarded.

:) hehe just kiddin. I pick up vibes from people and I feel I can sense when someone has experience with any pysch. All though I could be wrong :)

It's tough to make speculations, because alot of time it could be wrong, that's why I try and talk to peeps and learn about them before assuming they are pyschonauts.
Some people trip for the wrong reason yet assum they are on a higher level. I feel I can sense this more :)

That's a good question,

For me it's a yes and no, I've had times when I've connected with people because I could tell they've been opened up by psychedelics, but at the same time I've met people who I never in a million years could imagine tripping. So I think it's definitely a case by case basis.

can tell when someone has been using LSD a fair bit; there tends to be a signature face.... eyes looking to the top right and a gawping mouth... i'll post evidence sometime in the future

ok so yeah

also jimi hendrix's signature is quite "Lunar" like the ring around saturn....

so there can be lots of 'clues' you can pick up on if you keep a look out

because you can tell what drugs people have done based solely on appearance, i'm used to hearing borderline crazy stuff in PD, but get a grip man.

some of the circles i've been in you'd have no idea unless they told you (30 year old businessmen, 17 year old math geeks) theo nly reason I got to see that side of them was thanks to festival season.

I always believed that ever since I tripped, I see things a lot differently. Now it has been a very long time since that happened so who really knows. I like to believe that I opened something up in another dimension that only people who has done psychedelics can see, that would be awesome. I try to never label people by appearance though, I still will sometimes, but I hate doing it.

ialso when in the wilderness i can feel the mushrooms presence even when i havent found them yet

I feel this too. Especially on mushrooms.. like if I do mushrooms by myself, I don't really feel "alone". Something else is there with me.

How much does your perception of the mushroom experience play into your assessment of whether someone does a lot of mushrooms or not? I mean, more inclined with nature? I've done plenty of shrooms and avoid outside like it'd kill me. I think a lot of the 'natural' or 'earthly' feeling of shrooms have to do with the fact they grow naturally in the wild. You wouldn't go around saying that you can feel the entity of LSD while in the woods but there's not much of a difference and either is just as likely. Most mushrooms people are eating are grown in closets.

I could walk into a room and people would have no idea i ever used any drugs. Maybe it's because i look like a douche or something but people are always like, 'well you don't smoke pot do you?" and this is when i was a benzo junky. IME real psychonauts are few and far between and impossible to pick out successfully. I can only find them randomly and a quick conversation about DMT/RCs and other psychs will tell me if they are legitimate or not, appearances always vary from uptight looking people to complete weirdos. lol

We'll have to do a study to see whether big time mushroom users are more inclined to appreciate nature, it's possible lol. If it's true of mushrooms though i bet it's true of any psychedelic. You could probably say that psychonauts are more artistic and creative but there are plenty of counter-examples; generalisations and stereotypes aren't always effective.

I would say that I can spot someone who has done a lot of drugs, depending on the drugs. As far as psychedelics go, sometimes people get kinda spaced out. Not like they aren't all there, just kind of distant. Maybe "cosmic". That's even a bit of a generalization though. Some people get really intense from psychedelics. I've met a lot of people who have eaten a lot of mushrooms and many of them had nothing in common. I met this crazy biker at the bar the other night who LOVES mushrooms and he definitely wasn't spaced out, or extra in-tune with nature, or anything like that. Drugs can definitely change a person, but the nature of the change is extremely variable.
