The trump card above all others, including Canada: the Jamaican bobsled team
After Canada I cheer for the Netherlands though, then the anglo/nordic/alp-sphere, then the USA
So, countries with
Germanic languages? I gotta stick with the English speakers, we're so similar and closely allied.
Anglosphere, the rundown:
USA - Military #1, Economy #1, number of non-Americans that have visited the moon: 0. QED, best country ever.
Canada - Basically Alaska meets France. Apparently Americans'
most liked foreign country.*
Great Britain - Like us, but Europe flavored. Our diplomatic/military BFF.
Ireland - Drunken gingers hopped up on Catholocism.
Australia - Basically UK meets the Wild West, with zany animals. Crikey!
New Zealand - A quiet and friendly place ever since Sauron and the armies of Mordor were defeated.
*UK gets the #2 spot. Americans' least liked are North Korea and Iran.

The frenemy thing will stop when they have enough might and practice the time-honoured tradition of 'might is right'.
Overly serious response:
Unlikely, they don't need to, they don't like the legal-fiscal-military framework of Pax Americana, but don't want to replace it outright. They can deteriorate the West's de facto world rule merely by becoming as economically strong as America, and as willing to throw around aid to the developing world. This will lead to an international situation where regional powers are emphasized. China could then have the final word in Asian affairs, the US is currently a big voice, and unites Korea and Japan, whose relations are often strained, in an enemy-of-my-enemy situation. US military muscle is also required for this, since South Korea's military is busy guarding against the North, and Japan's hands are tied by
Article 9. Expect similar stuff elsewhere. IMO, anyway.
