Why would anyone do PCP?
rapper "big lurch" smoked the drug and then killed and ate his girlfriend. fuhreal.
Iv seen videos on cops of people on pcp naked punching through fences and wrestling with multiple cops.
Those types of things occur more frequently on alcohol, minus the cannibalism... why would anyone want to do that????
Uh, because those types of reactions are incredibly rare and are generally the result of long-term HEAVY dose use.
I've never in my life wanted to do anything like that on PCP.
The only thing I've ever wanted to do on PCP was sit there and zone out for a few hours. It has a lot of similarities to ketamine, only you don't really seem to go in the past or future. You're basically just comatose for a while.
And being that I was formerly located very close to DC and knew the right people, I had the absolute best of the best.
I have never known ANYONE to personally do anything other than sit there half comatosed - with one exception where some guy who had been on it for days was taking off his clothes and kept talking gibberish about his physique.
As well, psychotic episodes involving PCP are generally linked to when it is smoked with marijuana. That is a recipe for disaster.
Also, the early "scary" stories started because of this: when it was first introduced in the 70's on a large scale, it was in LARGE doses of tablets, which caused psychotic breaks.
It was later reintroduced in DC. But the first person who had the first large supply simply sprayed it over marijuana in a VERY high and non-uniform dose.
And it quickly got a really bad reputation.
I know it is common knowledge that you can OD and die the first time you try heroin, or cocaine can cause complications that may lead to death, but the effects of heroin and cocaine are desirable.
I have used virtually every drug under the sun and I have always preferred psychedelics.
To each their own.
Aggression, strong hallucinations and paranoia don't sound like a good time.
I have never become aggressive or had hallucinations (although tunneled vision and aural hallucinations - things sounding slowed down) nor paranoid.
Although I have often gotten excessively paranoid on ketamine and tried to hide stuff thinking someone was going to find me and my stash and lost stuff.
I have never become aggressive or paranoid or had distorted thoughts that somebody was looking at me the wrong way on alcohol. But I've witnessed it at sports bars probably 3 out of 4 times I go.
I however completely detest cocaine, non-psychedelic amphetamines, 2C-I, et cetera.
Different people have different reactions to different substances and therefore, different taste in them.
Thats just what i assume about the drug.
I used to assume that if you did LSD, you would see kaleidoscope fractals and such. Because that was what I had always been taught in drug education classes in school.
You cannot even imagine my disappointment when I was not propelled into some dazzling world of colors and seeing happy cartoonish characters coming out of nowhere.
Although, I was impressed by it's many TRUE attributes and it was my drug of choice for years.
I've never had a psychotic break on it. However, I've seen it happen to others.
Why is it culturally acceptable in the United States to smoke tobacco and drink alcohol? I don't particularly enjoy either. And in other nations, those substances are banned and yet the consumption of khat is not even recreational, it's just a social norm.
I like psychedelics. My drug of choice would be mushrooms. Although I have not ingested any for a few years now. Exactly as it is stated, it is a drug of choice, not necessity. I would never rule out using it again, but I have not made any serious inquiries as obtaining it.
Would like to hear about positive experiences from the drug.
I've never had any exceptionally positive experiences from it. I've just never had any negative ones. I tried it a few times to see what it was about and see if it had any usefulness. I did not find it to. So I moved on after a few times, tried it again at a later point in life, still found no positive attributes about it and have never had the desire to use it again. But I know of a few people in the inner-city that literally use the stuff from morning until night daily and just go about their day like it was nothing.
