The term "sherms" refers to pcp soaked schwag in the area I am from and is very common. I see it about every other month. It is not at all fun and should generally be avoided.
There is a bit of controversy surrounding it stemming from some dumb kids being told it was soaked in formaldahyde, not realising that "embalming fluid" is common slang for pcp.
I have also tried it personally, and can vouch for it being pcp.

pcp is mostly oil soluble. for the crystal form i believe. however, i was mixing it with vinegar/alcohol and passing it through a THICKASS filter to make it ready for IV.

pcp dreams are fucked up too... then imagine a fucked up dream involving lots of blood and gore, and then waking up in a bloody pile of tissues and bondage gear and used syringes (EVEN BIGGER WTF)

I had some odd light pink (not RP colored) meth that when I dissolved a gram in ~40units H2O had an oily non-water soluble layer on top. I added 40mg oxy, sucked it all up through cotton and banged it. It was the most intense and bizarre rush I've ever had; I don't remember much except laying on my sidewalk somehow in a 10*F minnesota night with no shirt on in a river of sweat trying to breath for around 3 hours. After mentioning the oily layer on BL, someone here (Kandy?), suggested the distinct possibility of crystalline PCP cut into the ice as it potentiates the effects of meth.

If someone were to dip a cigarette in starter fluid, which is just methanol, it would evaporate away very quickly and leave behind... a cigarette! I suppose there would be trace amounts of whatever impurities were in the industrial-grade methanol, but... it's already a fucking chemical-infested cigarette to begin with!

I don't think that scam would work in practice.

Well, in this case it WAS pcp. I had tried it several times before this instance. Smells nothing like lighter fluid. Anyone dumb enough to fall for lighter fluid as pcp deserves what they get for smoking it

They sell it here in philly mostly on mint leaves, once i saw the oily kind in a guys freezer, I smoked it once. We rolled it into a green de menthol phillie, it didn't taste as bad as most people made it out to be and i got the tipical " Stuck " feel people around here talk about, i mean it was alright, felt pretty cool actually but i wouldn't experience again, didnt care for PCP much. Around here everyone calls it " WET" or " DUST" and yes that Embolbing fluid theory is promient around here, i've argued it with millions of people, they all swear they " know this guy that robbed a funeral home and dipped it on weed and sold it and everyone loved it " which is ridiculas, just like everyone that knows that guy that , " did alot of acid and now thinks hes a glass of orange juice" Everyone knows him but cant give you a name or anything, or the " my friend ran through a feild and had it strapped to his leg and it all absorbed into his leg and now hes insane " ( pretty sure that ones from that movie SLC punk ) i hate drug myths lol.

It's usually a result of the mixing of lactose with that yellow/green paste some of you guys talked about , to make it a snortable product. I think it goes like this : 1g of green paste to make 15g of "mess". huge profits for the sellers indeed

Are there any Canadians (ok, canadians in the eastern half of the country) who have found PCP other than the yellow/green paste?

Btw, I don't know about Quebec, but by the time it gets here, it looks like silly-putty and it is simply not snortable. It also doesn't work rectally for some reason. Orally, though, and you're in a whole-day long dissociation that feels like a cross between DXM and meth.

The only time I had done PCP, a cigarette was dipped into a jar filled with it. Smells EXTREMELY chemically.

Same deal here. I came across PCP one time and it was sold to me as a "Sherm Stick." It was a cigarette absolutely soaked in a very light brown liquid. The cigarette smelled of really strong chemicals, almost a little like paint thinner. I acquired it in a small city from a street dealer I approached to see if he had any weed. He replied back saying he only had "Hard and sherm sticks" which meant crack and pcp if you didn't know. The experience was very intense and felt a lot like a good dose of ketamine...I have no desire to ever do it again because it didn't really show me enlightenment or growth, just felt like it was killing a lot of brain cells...which I'm pretty positive it succeeded in doing so.

ive had pcp in a white powder, guy called it mescaline.
