Paxil??

I'm looking for any info on this drug. I know it's been in the news lately for something or other. I just need info about that something or other. If anyone can respond really fast for me i'd be much appreciative. thank you

In the news they've been talking about it having bad withdrawal effects. Bad as in worse than alcohol, approaching opiates. 'Weaning' is highly recommended. Over like 6 weeks. This applies to the other ssri's, but not to the same degree.

i was prescibed paxil (paroxetine),a while back.
after a trial run of 2 days,i stopped because of the nasty side effects i was getting.
and yep.the withdrawals are pretty serious,unless youre slowly reduced off of them.

Man.. you think paxil is bad... I just started Zyprexa(Olanzapine), and damn, do I hate the side effects. I think I'm going to stop this sh*t pretty soon, I'd rather be crazy! I was on paxil myself for about 3 months, then stopped cold turkey, and went though nasty withdrawals... terrible stuff when you're not expecting it. Good luck.

and don't even consider paxil recreationally. i took a few one night after a friend who was on it told me how good (and in his case, level) they made him feel. yeah, it was stupid, i know. they made me fell allright that night, almost like a really shitty roll. but i felt like crap the next day. never again will i touch that shit.
