I love Paul Stamets so I tried one of his supplements I hope to stack it with psilocybin but it gives me a weird empty nausea feeling in my stomach. Could this be attributed to needing probiotics as well I picked up some activia yesterday in hopes it would help but it doesn’t. I feel it as I type. It says take two a day I’ve been doing that since Sunday. Split one in morning one in day. This has numerous mushrooms in it so it’s impossible to know which one is doing it. I don’t really wanna feel this when I trip as mushrooms are already kinda hard on the stomach. Any other remedies so I can use both. I have zofran, tums, teas. I probably will make a shroom tea the first time I try it as I hear it’s easier on the stomach. So I guess what I’m asking is if I emptied the capsule and my ground up cubes into a powder mixed well and put it with some happy tummy tea do you think this will combat stomach pains? I’d like to know for both stacking and taking the mushroom supplement on my own. I feel it’s just the mushrooms getting rid of toxins in my stomach so I’m willing to deal with pain if that’s the case

i took a look at the paul stamets website and would like to draw your attention to the following:

'These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.'

if you have a genuine medical issue, you should get it checked out by a doctor rather than taking random rip off snake oil. if i were you i'd ditch the pills and chalk it up to experience.

if something causes you nausea it is not because it is 'getting rid of toxins in your stomach,' i'm not even sure what that means. this pain through detox theory is completely unsupported by evidence and pushed by woo peddlers whose supplements are actively causing harm.

Thanks I appreciate the info. I changed diet and it stopped and this is what me and my doctor talked about since the only pharmacy I will take are narcotics.

ok, well pharmaceutical drugs are prepared according to strict protocols and tested extensively for safety and efficacy. random supplements sold on the internet could be prepared in completely squalid conditions for all we know, and there is no evidence basis for them working, some have been found to be actively dangerous.
