Paranoia caused by dopamine reuptake inhibitors

I think you are right...

Anyone ever had pyrovalerone? I think it is C-V....

I prefer the more selective DARIs BY FAR.

I was given pyrovalerone twice. My ------ had it for weight loss (I assume from a long time ago, though I'm not sure) and one night I slept there to go fishing with her husband the next morning, we wake up at 3am and I'm dead tired, and she says "here, this is supposed to make you a little more alert."

It wasn't anything special. 10x better than phentermine, and I prefer it to amphetamine, but I can't stand amp really (for recreational use, anyway).

Very interesting that MieDieVil mentions this strange paranoia on MDPV and Methylphenidate. I agree. Having used amphetamines and most popular drugs for years I still feel that theese two drugs cause a very strange feelin of unmotivated fear of something that might occur. Even after rather short periods of use, usually on the way down from a rush, but taking more will not help.

Actually the biggest problem with, say mdpv, IMO is that it makes me consume way more alcohol and bensodiazepines just to get rid of this edgy feeling.

There has to be an explanation and maybe a cure? Alpha-blockers?

Bensos work, but it takes a large dose (equivalent of say 20mg of Diazepam) to do it.

i also keep trying to get rhid of the paranoia mdpv causes with alcohol but it doesnt do much actually.. does it work for you?
even GHB or benzo's dont work at all, in the end i consumed all my benzo's just for nothing...

last weeks i've got alot more experience with amphetamine and yeah it does cause paranoia but you only notice it on the way home, it aint bad at all

one time i went to party on MDPV and it was like a horrible experience, i barely moved around

Alcohol and bensodiazepines do help, but I fear using them regularly. I agree that it does take a lot though.

I wonder if an alpha-blocker (Clonidine/Catapressan) is an accurate remedy?

Could it be used in between doses or only as a sleepaid? Any thougts?

It'd probably help with the annoying NA stimulation, but the paranoia is the result of dopamine (AFAIK).
