Opioids Panadeine Forte help appreciated

I know I'm a 'nooby' but i need help and hoping i can find it here!
I've used this forum for help on my drugs for awhile now.
Obviously not an active poster though.

All that aside hopefully you will help me anyway!

To the question:
I have panadeine forte (codeine phos + paracetamol) 30/500 Australia
(Co-codamol in the us as you all already know)

First time use, I'm looking for euphoric effect, will two of these do this for me?
I'm out of the wonderful cannabis at the moment so i intend to drink alcohol.
Probably 2 glasses of wine. (New liver, I'm quite young)

Is this safe on two of these???

Not worth it, it wont do shit, but you're going to do it anyway and probably end up taking way too much paracetamol.

Codeine in general isnt worth it, its almost as terrible as darvocet

what about increase the alcohol?

Well I personally think codeine does have recreational potential for those with no opiate tolerance. Drinking with any opiate isn't all that advisable, and drinking with paracetamol is plain stupid, but I'm sure your liver will survive on this occasion.

Having said that, 60mg is a pretty low dose. It may work for you, but if it doesn't then don't increase your Panadeine intake. Look at doing a CWE instead, but remember that's far from risk-free in itself.

I understand the risks in a CWE and from the given information i plan to do as previously stated and just take 2 PF's and have a few glasses of wine [or more ]

150-240mg of codeine and a bowl of weed made me nodd when I first started, I still use it even with "tolerance" its nice and euphoric and is better to use it with cannabis to add synergy to the high.

Codeine is not for everyone though, some don't like the itch that can happen and others have to high a tolerance to other opiates so its useless for them.

I'd say 90mg is a decent dose for a first timer with no tolerance, but i'm a 125lb female so I suppose it all depends on body weight etc.

If it were me, I would just take them (and have taken upto 5 before) however I don't recommend this and you'll get better effects with more tabs and a cwe.

u can take 4 and be fine ur stomach might feel like crap..

dont take them on an empty stomach and dont do this more than once a month for tolerance/acidosis of the liver.

I'd say take 4 or 5 for a decent buzz, that's a max of 2.5g paracetemol, which is well under the recommended daily limit. If you're really concerned about the paracetemol you can do a cold water extraction, but that shouldn't be necessary for less than 4g.

Codeine's recreational potential is fairly variable, some people get a great buzz out of it, others get almost nothing, it depends a lot on your individual metabolism.

You shouldnt be mixing alcohol with paracetamol, bad for your liver. Just take 2 codeine pills & see what happens.

I ended up taking 2 pills and a few glasses of wine.
Didn't really do that much for me sadly.

Planning on taking 3 tonight and more alcohol.
Is it safe to do it this close together?
I know i shouldn't but these are just one offs, and I wont be combining them again.

^It's pretty much paracetamol which is the main concern, due to it causing liver damage. The recommended dose of taking paracetamol on its own is 2x 500mg tabs, so taking only one tab extra than that really isn't dangerous, but at the same time if you are drinking alcohol and/or want to take higher doses of codeine (like I always do when I have nothing else ), it is always safer to do a cold water extraction of the tablets to avoid taking a majority of the paracetamol.

If 60mg didn't do much for you then 90mg isn't either, I'd just get a couple more and do a CWE to be honest man, it's going to be really easy on a small amount of pills anyway. You'll probably be fine taking a few more without CWE but paracetamol and alcohol is rough for your liver and the tiny amount of effort involved in a CWE is worth the piece of mind. For me codeine only ever started getting recreational at 200mg plus, higher doses give me worse histamine release than any other opiate so if you're trying a high dose it may be worth taking an antihistamine (once after a large dose and no antihistamines my hands swelled up huge!). Despite what some say I think there's definite recreational potential in codeine and i'm not opiate naive at all. Dihydrocodeine plus potentiation feels almost as good as some stronger opiates to me, I'd pick the booze/dhc combo over oral morphine for sure.
