Everyone here is against the settlements. Everyone here would like to see the right wing government replaced.

Still, none of this supports the use of the term ethnostate.

I'm as far from biased in favor of islam as possible.

I used the term ethnostate to refer to a state that obviously prioritizes the goals of a certain ethnicity. I didn't rescind that choice of words by using slightly different words in the next post. I still maintain that calling Israel an ethnostate makes perfect sense. It's not even that dramatic to be an ethnostate even though most of the west has moved away from that.

I want to clarify that i have no interest in semantic bickering. If you want to operate with other terms, go ahead. Using the term ethnostate is not important. We all know what's being discussed. Focus should not be on single words.

Like that video was literally just about antisemitism and Jews being accepted in Europe

The law narrowly passed. We all would like to see a more moderate government.
The defense of the law is that while it (mostly symbolically) reinforces the idea that Israel is a Jewish state, it does nothing to weaken any of the concrete laws and protections already enshrined to protect non Jewish citizens.

I don't see why it's problematic that Hebrew is the national language. English is listed as the official language in some states here in the US. Does that make them ethnostates? California, Colorado, and Hawaii?
 
If Iran ever succeeds in their revolution, I wouldn't mind it being labeled officially as a culturally Islamic state, or whatever. As long as they have actual laws protecting other groups as equal citizens. Would I prefer every nation to be completely secular? Of course.

Yeah but if you read a little more about the organization you will find that all the things i stated are true and this information is on their homepage and on wikipedia. The clip is just an introduction.

I'm no nazi and don't care what's nazi. If you consider these statements untrue i will be persuaded by arguments, not insinuations.

I believe i'm a lot less afraid than the people who aren't even hip to the situation, honestly. Denial betrays itself. Muslim population is increasing in Europe. In Sweden some institutions have been infiltrated and welfare systems exploited by muslim clans operating as mafia. In Britain the police turned a blind eye to pakistani rape gangs kidnapping british girls. This is real and completely horrific. At the heart it's not about fear or any emotion but about rational decision. Also it's not really even about the religion of islam. But that gets off topic.

Are there terrorists inside the school hell bent on destroying me and everyone I know?
Are they using the school as a base to launch attacks?
Are they attempting to weaponize our compassion for the hostages against us in order to inflict emotional distress?

Just fleshing out this analogy a little before I answer.

The discussion is so fucking cursed tbh. People seem awfully pleased with themselves about a war and tens of thousands dying. Personally im tired of everyone's virtue signaling, its kinda callous and gross
