Opioids Pain Rating system and persons with addictions

Oh i love cockbag Docs,
A friend of mine, took him into the ER a while ago, granted he was a bit of a candyass as all it was was a stubbed toe lol, well thats what it ended up being anyway...,but he thought it was broke, and what the hell maybe his pain tolerance is a bit on the wimpy side, but who cares that aint docs call to make.

Long Story Short, he was given the "in your head" line as well by the doc. I remember snickering as my friend had had enough and replied with "All in my head huh doc?....and you went to medical school? See that software your using on your computer for my information? Turns out that came from my head to, and wanna know what else is in my head? The thought of some asshole dr. Who maybe makes 150,000 a year n thinks hes Dr. HotShot...i was part of a group of people who created that software, so inbreds like you wouldnt have to use "THEIR HEAD". Oh and Doc? Do you have any idea how ironically stupid that saying is? Our brain runs everything, i would love for you to come up with one thing based on your brilliant logic that DOESNT come from "Your Head".

Somethin along them lines, granted hes a wimp, but when these yahoo drs think theyre special, sometimes its great to see em taken down a notch. All that said, i did have to take my nerdy buddy elsewhere though!

It's certain that a body being numbed for a longer period of time by opioids will have a lower pain threshold. I know I suffer more than I used to from legs pain for example. And staying on a ~20mg methadone dose a day is really almost like taking nothing for me. A minimum of 80mg of morphine is needed for me to be injected intravenously to feel the rush, otherwise it's weak. So I guess the pain experienced during withdrawal can't be underestimated although it's definitely overrated by people withdrawing because of psychological withdrawal.

Anyway, one thing I need local anaesthesia is anything done at dentist's. I simply can't stand even little pain. I'm sure it's because of my quite long opioid abuse.
