I have recently been rerened in a semi-serious car accident. My back and neck are sore but i do not believe that their has been any serious injury. To be careful i am seeing a doctor. This brings me to my question, how does one go about getting a perscription to something like vicoden, or is that not commonly given for my situation... i thought this would be one of my only chance to get myself a perscription and i wish to take andvantage of it any help would be appreciated.
 
I don;t know if you will get any good drugs for this but even if you only get tylenol 3's thats ok just crush them up into a fine powder get a straw and snort a few lines it gets you fucked up and if you do enough you will hallucinate.

Tell them you had a pain problem before and you were perscribed something like "Hydrocodien or something" that shows the doctor your not informed about abused pain killer. Or say you got "insert brand of hydrocodone that no one uses"
 
main things to say when trying to get pills
-I've been taking advil (or whatever else) for the past few days non-stop and the pain has no decreased at all.
-It hurts so bad when i move.
-I have gotten close to zero hours of sleep the past few days b/c the pain keeps me up.
-When the doctor is examining u and presses on a spot that is tender - scream, moan do whatever it takes to convince him that it is the most pain u have ever felt. I find that yanking away from him, grinning, and opening your eyes big works well too.
side notes from above posts - do not snort tylonel 3. you must first extract the codiene from the tylonel by the cold water extraction. If u don't want to do this or don't have enough pills to use then just take them orally.

i think you should go with your muscles being real tense at times, and not being able to achieve things that used to do because of the pain, most doctors care to a point and have a soft spot for sorrow bullshit =)
 
If you go to the ER and comaplin of pain, you can just about request hydrocodone and get it - simply say "When I sprained my ankle they gave me some hydrocodeine and it took care of the pain, could I get some of that until I can get to my doctor?" ... do NOT SAY VICODIN, use something more obscure, such as Vicprofen or Norco... either way, you are not likely to get more then 10-20 pills MAX as the ER doctor is just giving you enough to get to your regular doctor... you can then call yer regular doc and work him/her for all you can - start by saying that the pain is REALLY BAD and you would like a refill on whatever it was the ER doc gave you... your regular doc will want to go the muscle relaxer/nsaid/non-narcotic route, so you need to do a little social engineering...

And yes, if you were rear ended, SEE A LAWYER! You can sue and make a LOT OF MONEY - most any lawyer that specializes in these things will know a doc that will "embelish" on the injuries too - remember, once you get a chart going that says you HAVE an inuury, dope will come easier!
