ok. i have been on probation anout 7-8 months now. my po has had absolutley no problem with me other than the fact for some reasson, he seems to hate me.i have been passing drug tests by drinking a shitload of water and taking a flush drink. yesterday, i piss for him and passed the standard dip stick test that i usually take. than he starts to pack my urine up and tells me that he's sending it into a lab for further analysis. do you think that i might still pass since my urine is so diluted? how long do you think it will take untill i know the results. If I fail do you think that he'll violate me? I mean it is the first one that i would have failed, so can he legally? keep in mind that he doen't like me. i am in florida if that helps. also, if he does violate me, then hat happens then. do i have to go to jail for a while or what. i know i know, if i'm on probation then i shouldn't be using drugs any ways. but I learned my lesson now and it's a little late for that.

Basically all labs now test for creatine content in urine in addition to testing for drugs, a creatine test is esentially a test to how watered down the piss is. If the urine test shows unusually low creatine levels, the lab will most likley send a note back reccomending the probation officer issue another test because the sample was diluted, if the officer actually reissues the test is a different matter, most don't care...
Well, if your urine has drugs in it, diluting your urine is a real long shot, most likley you will fail the lab test. After you fail, the lab will send it out for a GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) test to confirm the results. The GC/MS test is insanely fucking accurate, and is used as the final word for drug tests.
Now, if you actuallty managed to dilute your piss enough that the concetration of drug metabolites is below the nanogram cutoff levels set by the lab, the test would come up negative for drugs and they wouldn't need to further analyze it...and you will probably get away with it all, unless the lab reccomends a retest due to low creatine levels...

I agree with MerryB that the fact that the first test was a clear is an important point. A person cannot be indicted on evidence if the evidence was previously excused, e.g. not guilty, clean, etc.
But I'm not a lawyer, nor do I know if your piss is considered evidence in this case, because you are not in court. But you ARE restricted by court order. Ask your lawyer, be sure to tell him the initial test was found negative.
