Anybody having experienced oxytocin (nasal spray is necessary for it to reach the brain afaik)? I am curious about its possible psychotropic effects. As far as I know it's only approved use is to induce labor in pregnant women but is also used in studies about anxiety, autism and general social behavior. Also, that it is an integral component of rolling on empathogenes. Seems to modulate quite some parts of human behavior like increasing trust towards known people and the opposite against unknown people (in men at least). People suffering of autism get easier interpersonal communication. But is oxytocin actually psychotropic in the sense of a drug, or not?
Think about acquiring some, but it's pretty expensive and I'd like to read your opinions and experiences first.
Thanks !
