Hey, so I am pretty new to this site and am really sorry if this is way too long of an introduction to get to my point or just way too long of the beginning post of a thread in general (that people will actually read). For that I will bolden and highlight the important pieces of information contained within. I have occasionally read various threads in the Other Drugs forum and somewhat recently decided to register for an account. I am sorry if I break any rules because I am pretty damn sure that brand name discussions are not allowed, but this question can actually be beneficial for him, so he can determine what brand(only description of pill- read a little further, please) is really the most reliable; thus making it his best option and most capable of helping him with his pain issues. Also I am not sure if it means anything though I am hoping it is somewhat of a loophole (I have not read the rules in a while so I am sorry) to write the inscriptions on the tablets; rather than the actual name of the company itself - so from there one could determine which brand is which, etc.. This friend has recently been prescribed Oxymorphone 10 mg's. for a chronic bone disorder that has made physical activity very difficult for him as he was once a very active person. For his first script of his OM's, he received the small but slightly thick, circular, white pill with no coating, and extremely hard to crush according to him. The imprint of it was 54 over 814. He says usually crushes them partially but sometimes completely and eat them in that manner for a slightly quicker onset when a sudden burst of pain arises. He tells me that the "starchiness" of the pills makes them more of a bitch to eat than the xanax to which he is currently prescribed, and other pain medications he has been prescribed in the past. Also he had heard from somebody that those were not the greatest brand in the world, so he would iike to know what brands (only write imprints of the pill) are the ones he should look for next time. He wants to know which ones are strongest and provide the best pain releif, which have the most and least amount of powder when crushed up, and which ones people prefer the most, and why. This also applies to people who IV these, snort them and plug them (please include your reasons for why you choose your specific brand for your preferred ROA). All of your information and help would GREATLY be appreciated. Thank you very much everybody!
