Alright, Opana ER 40mg. before this, i have only done hydrocodone, oxycodone, and codeine (ignoring synthetics). I have a fair deal of experience with those three, but my use is very recreational and i have never had a tolerance or even a once a week habit. they are not a regular thing in my life. i have read much of oxymorphone, and was very surprised and excited to have a chance to play with it.
damn small pill. yellow with a 40 on one side. like a stop sign but i think even more sides. breaks up easy. white, slightly tan powder. very little needed.
This stuff is very different from codeine and the -codones. it is not as buzzy. very heavy. I've been blowing it by the way, and it is by far the slowest kicking in drug i have ever insufflated. But it lasts much longer than any of the other opiates ive tried. it's up there with tramadol in duration (but not quite). Im not gonna give a guess, cause i redose, but your high for longer than 5 hours and less than 10. it really takes about an hour or two to fully kick in, but you can kinda feel it in 5 minutes. once you are already on it, and snort another bump, it feels like it kicks in much quicker and kind of gives a warm rushy feeling (i imagine that is the little bit you feel quickly on your first dose, just feels really good cause you are already high). i wouldn't redose for 5 hours the first time, if at all the same day.
this shit makes you nod. it does not take much either. i am doing super small bumps. no problems with gelling, but i have no tolerance so im not snorting large amounts of the pill at once. just a few mgs (of active substance) a bump. id say 4mg-ish at a time, if even that. on my second bump (a few hours later) i start to nod. I always smoke pot btw.
I feel like this stuff mixes very well with benzos. It is strangely speedy in a way, like oxycodone sort off. the first night i did it, had trouble falling asleep (noding again and again but always shooting back awake like you do). That was until i took some valium. I always take valium with it now. It almost seems to create a little anxiety if i dont. i wouldnt mix with a benzo for you first dose though, becuase it is very powerful. very. if you are not taking orally, a 40mg opana is much more than a 80mg oxy. plus it causes nausea very easily, benzos and weed help with this. but i am very weed and benzo experienced; careful, opana feels like the kind of stuff that kills people.
like i said, it is a heavy, wet, dreamy high instead of light and buzzy like hydrocodone and oxycodone. very long lasting. i like it, very nice. though it is very difficult to function on, unlike the -condones. you cant really get much done on oxymorphone. ive tried to take really light doses, but always end up with a heavy high. awesome stuff for a day you are not doing anything.
feels rough on the body. oxycodone, hydocodone, and codeine feel very natural and not very physically or mentally damaging. i cant not say the same about oxymorphone. feels like i am fucking myself up. almost like adderall; not nearly to that same extent. hard to eat on. always feel rough/sick the next day.
as far as euphoria goes, i really really like hydrocodone. idk, this stuff is very euphoric, but not a buzzing euphoria. if i could only do one ever again for the rest of my life, id still pick hydrocodone. opana is much more and End drug (in the sense of ends vs means). it removes you from the world and leaves you in much more comfortable one. it temporarily puts and end to all problems. while all opiates are pretty "end," this one takes the cake. i imagine a habit would be damn near impossible to break.
8 out 10 stars. 9 out of 10 when mixed with a benzo. be very careful, snorting a quarter of this pill for the first time with not tolerance (like my provider suggested) would be WAY too much. takes a long time to kick in, careful about thinking you need more. plus there is not much rushy feeling from snorting like oxycontin, so id do small bumps to avoid wasting with a drip (low low oral, bio i have read) even if you are tolerant.
i know this isnt one experience, but with a drug like opana, where it is not a trip, a think a review is more appropriate. hope i am not out of line. and this was "live," sorry.
edit: oh yea, and this actually makes me more irritable sometimes. i think because it is kind of overwhelming. benzos are almost a must with it. but it also does give some lovey empathogenic effects too.
